I have a black screen now on my Fitbit Bursa. I've charged it and still it won't turn on. It's been working fine. But not now. Can anyone let me know what I can do?

Thank you.

That is good news! After an hour long chat with an agent, they finally
decided that my versa was in fact defective and are also sending me a
replacement. Happy ending 🙂

Woke up this morning to the same problem 😑. Black screen, Fitbit Versa won't turn on, app says it's fully charged....hmmm.

@Fredco @Galvanized @Larrynierman  Have you tried a restart yet?  If not, press/hold the left and bottom right buttons at the same time and the Fitbit logo should appear.

And perhaps it isn’t actually charging. You can try cleaning the charging ports with a qtip.  Clean the underside of your Versa and the charging cord itself.

Yes I've done all that. It was on a full charge the second day it just went black. It won't reset reboot or anything at all. I think I'm just going to buy another one.

I'm having the exact same issue but have a hard time buying another device from a company after it breaks with 4 months of use. So sad because the Versa is such a cool watch- just wish it had better quality! Currently chatting with one of fitbits agents. Fingers crossed they can help!

It's covered under warranty so I'm just getting a new one.

Do you have to send the old one back first?

Not this time.

No but I did have to go through the trouble shooting steps with customer service on my device. Took about an hour on chat with the Fitbit representative to resolve. Annoying but at least FitBit has finally agreed to replace the defective product they sold me. Now I just have to wait for the replacement to arrive (not the full box- just the digital face of the watch- seemed SUPER cheap for a company of this size considering their original product didn’t live up to expectations).

I ended up doing the same thing yesterday and called customer service. I was on the phone about 45 minutes troubleshooting the issues. In the end they are mailing me a new face for my Versa as it is under warranty. I am kind of surprised that this has happened to quite a few of us. I have only had my Versa since January. Hopefully all goes well this next time around!

Yeah I got THAT too, not a " New" one unless you paid 1/2 of the retail price, you get a refurbished one,; I just got that refurbished one and it's been about 2 months charged as usual and on vacation, BLACK SCREEN! I fall back to my used fitbit flex 2, I bought this one used for $30..I teach water aerobics and I like the screen to see w/o a phone like the versa does, but the charge 2 is more dependable! I just hope I get some good service from Fitbit for a 2 nd time! Or apple phone here I come.
