Hi,
I bought a new Fitbit Versa yesterday but I can't update it ... I tried every step they tell me to do on the site of Fitbit but it won't help. I can't change my Clock faces or anything ... without the update the Fitbit app is useless, can somebody help me?

I had a look at your compatible devices, but versa 2 doesn't exist!!!!??

Yeah piece of trash out the box. Spent 4 hours trying to get this working. Restarted the watch a dozen times, tried close to the router, far away from the router, gave it its OWN router, tried my iphone, my laptop, deleting the app, rebooting my phone, my laptop.... Nothing, got on live chat and they said ohh its under warranty. Well no s**t I just bought it. I thought, I prayed this would be better than my Surge which died after 3 months. (died as in it would only hold a 2 hour charge, sitting on my desk)
It's a matter of quality control here. It could be any number of issues.

I have been trying to update.My Versa, it worked on Sunday went to update it on Monday and it won’t finish. Got a green check mark on my watch and then hit the finish update on app but it doesn’t work. I have the Versa lite. Any ideas?

I gave in with my versa 2. I tried emailing, but just received an acknowledgement that i had updated my watch and no explanation of what to do. Hence I telephoned Fitbit Uk direct and they sent me a replacement watch within 5 days. Works fine, but had to download the latest software (using internet wifi which worked fine) and then sort out my Settings all over again.

I'm also having a problem with my Versa Lite. Over the weekend it was showing the right date but a completely wrong time. I did not change time zones at all. I tried multiple times to update the device and nothing worked. I finally tried to reset to factory settings; I'm on my fourth attempt at trying to load the device. I keep getting error messages.
It's plugged in to the charger and is right next to the iPhone. I tried turning the bluetooth off and on. Still nothing works. This is only 3 months old! What the heck is going on with Fitbit?

Hi my versa won’t update. I have tried everything in the book over the last three months including resetting it the watch itself. Nothing works. Could you please help me? Should I send it in somewhere?

Hello,
I had a very hard time getting my new Versa 3 to update using my Samsung j7. It connected fine, but would not update. I grabbed my husbands iPad and downloaded the Fitbit ap there and logged into my account. It updated fine using his iPad. I then deleted the ap from his iPad and turned off the Bluetooth on his iPad. I then reconnected my versa 3 to my j7. It seems to be working fine.
