Feedback about Fitbit Versa

Could anyone please tell me whether they have the same problems as I do.  Purchased the Versa as soon as it was released in the UK and the problems just keeping coming.

Steps - so sensitive. Tracks even when driving.

Syncing - doesn’t sync exercise. Doesn’t whether I’ve started it on the watch or I’ve expected it automatically detect the exercise.

Ive had several Fitbit’s and this is by far the worst.  Do I stick with it with the fact it’s a new release in mind and there will be updates or do I attempt to return?

I am honestly so disappointed in Fitbit. I had my charge 2 for about 2 years and finally wanted to upgrade to the Versa 2. The Charge 2 was awesome and I was so happy with how it treated me over the years. The Versa 2 worked great for about a week. Now it reads my heart rate inaccurately. For example, when I'm on the elliptical and the machine is telling me that my heart rate is 160 bpm my Fitbit says my heart rate is only 108 bpm. It's not syncing anymore and I've tried everything. I am paired it so I could repair it this morning and now it's not even finding my fitness tracker. So now that there's a new update I can't even update my Fitbit. Also this morning it doesn't recognize that I'm wearing my Fitbit to sleep. I want to return my Versa 2, but I think it's too late now. The charge 2 was way better in my opinion and it was way more reliable. I can't believe I wasted so much money on this watch because that's all it is, a watch.

Honestly, the older watches are soo much better than the new ones. The new Apple Watch is here and my friends with the Apple Watch don’t seem to have a problem

I am no longer using my Versa. Upgraded to a Galaxy watch no more issues
and all my notifications come through

definitely look into the watch.

Bottom line is the Fitbit watch sucks and Fitbit knows it that’s why the warranty period is so short. Most warranties are at least 30 days but not theirs.I told them I don’t even want a replacement watch I just want my money back.Haven’t heard back from them since.

You can add Versa 2 to the list. I upgraded from Versa to Versa 2 and loved it - until the latest update ruined it for me. I now have phantom alarms that don’t show on the watch but would still ring. I want to turn off the 6.30 am one but I can’t even see it on my Versa 2. How can I delete or turn off an alarm that I can’t see? Frustrating!

I found the 6:00 am phantom alarm on my Versa2!  When I click on my Alexa, it says connection lost,  it says GOT IT, which I click. Alexa comes up - in the top right corner is a very small clock - tap it. It opens with ALARMS, Reminders and Timers. There is an alarm for 6:00 am every weekday on mine - I didn’t put it there!!  I turned it off. Hopefully it works- find out in the morning!!

Listen to this I purchased a fitbit versa lite. The thing would never stay in sync. I would call and complain and get the same run around each time. Then one day the fitbit locked up with some numbers on the display. I called they sent me a replacement with no band no problem I used the old band. Then the replacement did the same thing as the first one stopped syncing. I called and the support personal said send the fitbit back and we will give you a replacement. Which I did then I get an e-mail that said I did not send in both fitbits even the one that was locked up. There was no reason for me to keep a locked up useless fitbit. Now they say they can't give me a refund and refused to send back anything. What a crooked company. STAY AWAY

People kept telling me to send in my defunct Fitbit for a replacement but I
never saw the benefit in doing so when I hear so many stories like yours
where they simply send you ANOTHER janky fitbit!! I chalked up my loss and
threw the thing in a box somewhere and have since forgotten about it. It
was a gift from my husband and I hate that it turned out to be such a waste
of money and a huge headache and hassel.

They actually sent me a replacement and that one would not sync half the time. So I sent both back and they lied and said they only received the replacement but not the old 1 that was locked up. Why would I keep that? Now they just want to forget about it and rip me off.
