My left button isn’t working on my Versa. Managed to do a factory reset but now it is stuck on the “hold for shortcuts” start screen. I can’t clear this as my left button doesn’t work. Help ???

Iv'e been having the same same issue with my Versa Special edition watch for quite a while and the issues keeps getting worse.
Battery life is terrible.
there is a streak on the right side of the watch face(All the time).
left button doesn't work at all.
and just today the screen comes up displaying the audio controls and is stuck on that screen. (No longer usable as a watch).
and it doesn't appear to sync to my phone any more.
I'm not even sure if any of the buttons work anymore.
I've done the factory reset on the and have let the battery discharge and sit for a week before recharging. and none of that seemed to work.
Fitbit's solution was to buy another watch.

Hi I’m having the same problem as well, it’s been going on for about a month now and all it says is to select the shortcut and press and hold the left button, I do so and nothing happens it just goes back to saying the same thing to pick a short cut. If I can get some help with this issue it would be wonderful.

I am having the same problem. Mine is now stuck on the shortcuts menu. It still tracks everything like steps and sleep, the left button just doesn't work. I got an update yesterday and since then it is stuck in the shortcuts menu and wants me to push that button on the left. The left button pushes in, software just doesn't respond. Any suggestions?

The button pushes just fine. It doesn't action anyting. I'm stuck on a screen for audio. Swiping doesn't work, holding the button down to reset doesn't work, I can change Wi-Fi an update the app on the phone but nothing works on the watch save the audio screen. It's stuck in the button doesn't even wake it up. Do I need to get a replacement.?

Fitbit offered me 25% off a new one, but it didn't include the new versa. I had something through my employer and was able to get it for $49.

Hi,
I have the same problem.
I have done the following steps:
- Rebooted the tracker.
- Performed a factory reset.
And still having the same issue.
Does anyone have a solution for this?
Thank you all for your help!
PS: It worth mentioning that this behaviour started during a swimming workout.

yes, same issue. initially, the phone shutdown. cant turn it back for more than a week. all of a sudden it says 0%. tried to set it up, add it, but wont work. did factory reset. now I'm stick at the set up quick tips screen asking me to press left button which is not working. so set up does not want to continue. sp what to do now ?

I found what worked for me... once I picked my shortcut scroll to the button to SAVE then it worked after holding for 2 seconds

My left button is stuck, too! Is there a shortcut or some other action that will bring the home screen up? If I press the right button I get the exercise apps which I don't need, when what I'm looking for is the time, my heart rate and # of steps walked. I've tried using a toothpick or needle to trace around the button to clean it of any debris, but that does nothing. Using the air spray also does nothing. I'm on the verge of pitching this thing, too - ready to go with an Apple watch.

Toothpick does absolutely nothing. Canned air also did nothing for me. Are these left buttons regularly faulty?

Hi there
i am also having an issue with the left button being stuck. Very frustrating as you can’t go back on an action and just have to wait for it to time out... I have reset it and I still have the same problem

My left button is also stuck. My screen only displays one of 2 screens:
"Nothing new here" or one that shows the words "Source" and "Output" with a tony clock icon highlighted in purple and a phone icon. At the bottom of the screen it says "Add devices in Settings,"
but I can't even get to the settings.
I have tried to reset and factory reset and nothing works. Since the watch is at 91%, it will be a long wait to see if zero power does anything to resolve the problem.
