Purchased a versa lite for my daughter and the screen won’t clear or sync. Has a red x on the screen. Restarted and it’s still there.

Same result here too. Got mine replaced after reaching an impasse and
nothing their technicians recommended solved the issue.

Yes...that seems to be the fix....if it is still under warranty, get it replaced. Good luck.

Same issue. Solution does not work, logo keeps appearing and disappearing replaced by data not cleared error. Watch is 6 months old - please advise!

Call Fitbit and they will replace it for you. Good luck!

 I am so frustrated with my Versa 2.  I bought it less than 2 months ago and I have only managed to get it to sync 4 times.  It was a huge fight to get that far.  It displayed the incorrect time and wouldn't reset, then it  lost the heart monitor and now it has the big red X, Data not cleared message.  I tried the whole fix process 5 times and I am really done now.  I have wasted so, so much time since day one trying to get this to work properly.  I think I will go back to my HR fitbit.  In the meantime, what else can I possible do with this one???

This is also what has happened to mine. I’ve tried to reset a billion times and it is unsuccessful.

Hi I understand the frustration, that was me, when I was trying to fix mine. I ended up getting a replacement, since I had mine for about four months. Good luck.

If you have had your fit bit less than a year, then ask for a replacement. That is what I had to do. Good luck

Find there phone # and call them. They will make you go throw a few
steps. Than they will send you a replacement. Warranty is good for a
year!! Hope this helps.

You should get it replaced asap if the warranty hasn't expired.

I am really fed up with this problem. Mine won't go away either. I will not buy another Fitbit again. I had a problem with a previous one also.

my fitbit is the same as her fitbit, it has a big X. I've tried the insturctions you have said but it still dont work. what am I supose to do?

Google Fitbit customer service. There should be a phone number you can
call. And they should replace it!

I have tried the force factory reset and I still get the message Data not Cleared.Sync and try again. I can't even get my watch to sync anymore.
