For the Sp02 to work you have to be complete still while you sleep for two hours.
I can not a way to edit a reply so I going this way to update my reply.
For the Sp02 to work you have to be complete still while you slept for two hours.
If you are one the people like me that move around a lot while you slept the
Sp02 clocks will not work.

Interesting paradox. If I am still for 2 hours in bed there is a high probability I have passed away in my sleep due to breathing problems, so why would I care about my SPo2 reading in the morning from a product that Fitbit point out the SPo2 function cannot be relied on “for any medical purposes”. What purpose would the low reading serve in the morning to the deceased or a medic? (I also defy anyone to lie still in bed for 2 hours minimum while kept awake by concern whether in the morning they will have an SPo2 reading, particularly if it is likely to be low.)

So very true what is the purpose of it then rather swop it with VO2 max

Pointless then to have it isnt it ?? Who lies still for 2 hours while sleeping ? Rather then put vo2 max on that is more useful

I found this in Fitbit. It is a spo2 manual. You can google Fitbit spo2 manual or use

I stopped using Spo2 on the Fitbit Versa 3. I am using Wellue O2Ring
Wearable Sleep Monitor.
I am oxygen all the time now. This keeps track of everything during the
night and you can see how you slept
and view it on a chart on your smartphone with the app.

I am having the same problem. This should not be happening. Must be an issue with their product.
Totally agree. My Versa 3 is only 3 months old. This is a manufacturing/software issue. In plain English, this SpO2 rarely if ever works. Will try to return it and get my money back. This product is a dud.
The company is hiding something.
