I have a Versa 2 and an iPhone X and cannot seem to get my text messages to my watch. All the settings are on to receive notifications on phone & watch. I had no issue with this and the blaze. Help please:)

This is in the manual "You won’t see text notifications if you have the conversation open on your phone. Your Fitbit device shows new, unread texts." I closed the conversation and it work soo far.

I’m amazed at all the people with this issue and it still hasn’t been resolved. I have the versa. The one that came out last year. I’ve never had a problem receiving text messages until this last month. I have also tried all the troubleshooting tips mentioned earlier in the thread and it has not resolved anything. I’m way past the return window or I’d return this as well. I loved the watch until then. I’m very disappointed and I hope there will be a resolution for this soon or a coupon for 90% off my next purchase. Very unhappy.

It really is unbelievable. I have the iPhone 11 pro max and the newest fitbit versa 2. I have done everything on this feed with no results. Texts stopped working in early October and there’s still no resolution. I’ve been a fitbit customer for years and this is making me rethink ever purchasing another fitbit. Don’t tell me that this device will support certain features if it doesn’t. This is completely unacceptable.

I also had this issue with my Versa. So I recently bought a Versa 2 hoping this would solve the problem and it’s been open and on for two days and still no texts. I am getting all other notifications except the one I want. This all started after I updated my iPhoneX to iOS13.
My Fitbit app is version 3.11.1
can you help?

Hi, so I went into notifications>messages and while I followed the Fitbit
suggestions, nothing worked. I then saw someone post about turning on their
messages for the Notification Center, and that’s when I started getting the
text message notifications.
So follow this:
•Settings -> Notifications -> Messages
•Make sure to allow notifications. In the alerts section make sure all 3
are checked: Lockscreen, Notification Center, Banners
•one of these options should be selected: preview when unlocked or always
Go to Settings -> Bluetooth, select the info button for Versa 2 and ensure
it’s set the receive system notifications.
This is what worked for me, I have the iPhone 11 Pro, with the latest SW
update, 13.2.3.
I hope this helps!!

I was having the same issue, calls and test notifications weren't coming in.I did factory resetting 2xs and finally calls came in but text weren't. So i did what they suggested, your text message setting on your phone should be set on preview only when unlocked or always. Thats what did the trick but becAME disappointed when i found out you can't do quick replies on I phone X. I hope this helps

I’m still having this problem. It started on Oct 4th for me. I’ve tried everything suggested on this thread, other threads, and conversations I’ve had with fitbit support. Nothing works.

I sent my Versa 2 back to QVC. For that much money, I wanted it to work properly. I now have the Galaxy Active 2 and like it. I will not be responding to this post anymore as i have no other answers. I wish.you all the best.
