Hello!
I got a Versa 3 a few weeks back, and I've been having an issue with the strap. The top strap keeps just coming undone from the watch side for no reason.
I've tried 2 different Original Fitbit straps, and a 3rd party one. Same issue with all of them. I can hear it click in place when I fit the strap, but then I'll be doing something and it just falls off.

Hi there @BeakerUK, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 3 and for also trying different bands.
To make sure you're properly attaching the band, press it into the end of the watch until you hear a click and it snaps into place. The band with the loops and peg attaches to the top of the watch. For step-by-step instructions, review the user manual for Versa 3 pag.15-16.

Probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

I have the same problem and chatted to fitbit support but was told it us not covered under the warranty. That's crazy. It is now not fit for purpose as keeps falling off. I nearly lost it on a river swim yesterday as it fell of just before I entered the water. Surely fitbit should either repair or replace it.
I just received mine a few days ago and I have the exact same problem. My band has randomly come off several times so far. I'm active outdoors and on lakes, and I can't afford to lose the watch in the water or the woods((:. Seems like a bad design. I intend to return mine for a refund.
Hi
I'm having same problem & only had it a month. Seems the “catch” has broken on mine & im getting a replacement watch after contacting chat & explaining the problem. Worried the new one will do the same though 😵💫
They haven’t yet! They want me to send it back then they will let me know what they think. So now I’ve got to manage without one for however long it takes. They say 10 days

If your broken watch is under warranty and you got it from a shop take it back and get them to replace it over the counter. You shouldn't have to wait.

Unfortunately you'll have to follow their instructions.

Best AnswerWell so far it’s gone back & Fitbit say it will take at least 5 days to confirm it’s arrived, then at least 10 days before they can let me know what happens next.
I however have proof it arrived yesterday 2 days after sending it back 🤦🏼:female_sign:
so it’s a long wait without my watch I’m afraid
Oh my my word I have the exact same issue. I am so broken-hearted by it. I had the Ionic prior to this and it was my best watch ever lasted 4 years without missing a beat, perfect strap no issues with the software. I got this versa 3 so excited for the upgrade and it's just been a letdown. not giving correct readings and the strap has broken twice. 😪
Hi there! Sorry you’re having the same issue too!
i too was so excited to see what the new Versa 3 could do & enjoy all the features!
Where did you get it from?? How long have you had it? I’ve never had problems with my Charges or Original Versa but this one has a different catch which is what the problem was on mine. I’m also worried that it’s a design fault & will happen again so neurotic about losing it. This time I was in bed with Covid so when it fell off it came off while I was in bed so no damage done!!
Contact Fitbit customer care & tell them your problems
Fitbit received my watch Thursday & I got a little annoyed with customer service that it was taking so long as I had proof they’d received it & it was obviously a fault on the watch! What if I’d lost the watch for goodness sake! 😵💫
So I contacted them again & got an email yesterday to say I was getting a new watch but no tracking details yet!
I got it Oct, my first issue was the pebble as it was tracking properly, customer service was amazing they replaced the pebble with a refurbished one, then the strap broke, as in i couldn't not even reattach it, customer service was once again amazing and replaced the strap. but it is now starting to do the same thing. I am truly heartbroken. i converted all my friends to Fitbit and now this Versa 3 is honestly just letting me down 😪
