This morning I got my Versa 2 to start receiving notifications by doing the following.
Open your fitbit app and open your account by tapping the icon in the top left. Where it says device tap on Versa 2. In the next screen scroll down to Notifications under General. Then in that screen tap App Notifications. Go through those and choose what apps you want to be notified by. Mine somehow were all turned off.

My versa lite is simply not working. The screen was triubled and even time was troubled. So I am trying to reset, and it simply does not work. I just read I sould not have to do it. What should I do, please.
Thank you.

I was bought a versa lite 2 weeks ago for my birthday and it has stopped working after 1 week. I have been trying everything since to get it to sync. I have just came across this forum and am very disappointed to see it is an issue which has been ongoing since November. How can fitbit continue to sell a device that simply doesn't work??

Before I knew about the factory reset problem, I had problems with a clock face not loading correctly. It wouldn't let me uninstall, causing versa to lock with Fitbit logo. I am needing my watch for timing on laser cuts. I tried the factory reset, now it never gets past the first screen of "Step 2 of 3 101% completed". Went through all of the steps suggested to remove, bluetooth still finds it, but never completes/ starts update

I was able to fix mine after a factory reset. It requires a windows 10 laptop. Basically, it involves stopping fitbit on your phone, then set up the Fitbit app on my Win 10 laptop.. After that you connect the USB charger to the USB port on my laptop. Use laptop Bluetooth to pair fitbbit with Win 10 laptop. and then start the update from within the WINDOWS 10 app (not the phone app).. I have done this twice (I accidentally update once, again) and it worked both times.

I have seen several references to using Windows 10 on a laptop. if this is how they want their products used, that should be made plain for everyone. I don have a laptop, I only have a desktop while at work. if this cannot be handled via a phone that hooks up to blue tooth and internet, we should be made aware before purchase. This is a big FAIL in m opinion, which will most likely get this response deleted.

Yes, it is a big problem. Perhaps a friend/parent/sibling has a Windows 10 laptop you can use for this? Once you have it fixed, just avoid the update until we get the "all clear" -- from where I don't know. Anyway, it's the only way I know to fix it right now.
