Versa battery won't charge

I just got my versa a week or two ago, the battery ran out during a 12 hour work shift, so I popped it on the charger when I got home (it had been working perfectly before this).  Screen has not woken up since.  That was days ago now. Its like its just dead.  I have plugged the charger in to multiple places, my phone is charging beautifully from the same sources.  Who do I call/where do I send my Versa to get a replacement?

Hi my versa got completely out of the battery and now it’s not charging:( I tried to push all buttons to see the logo so I can plug it in to charge it but I can not get to the logo sign 😞 please help

All I can suggest is contact Fitbit. If owned under 1 year you would be
under warranty

I had the same problem and I called the Fitbit people and they replaced
it. My Versa was just a couple of months old when the failure occurred.

Are u able to share which one u purchased without being kicked off this sight? Mine just did the same thing. Won’t come back on. Tried the buttons. Haven’t reported it yet. Don’t have the time or patience. I’ve had issues w Fitbit for years- different models. About done after this one. Got it last Xmas. 😡

I am on hold now w Fitbit. Got my Versa November 2018. They want to send me a replacement. But only the face. I told them “heck” no and I wanted a whole new box. They offered to send me a new box AFTER I send them all my items first. And it could take 5-7 days for them to process receiving my items. W medical issues I kinda rely on my Fitbit and can’t afford to wait that long. They refuse to send in advance. Even tho they have sent in advance when I had issues w all the other devises I’ve had from them. I am going to attempt to return to the store. Hopefully the store has a better business brain than Fitbit. Very frustrated if u can’t tell.

So Fitbit customer service contacted me and said they’d send me a new Fitbit. About a week or so later I received the face only. I charged it and it charged properly. I looked up on Utube how to take off the old strap from the old face and how to put it on a new face. It was actually very easy once I watched the utube video. Very happy with new Fitbit.

I am not sure which Versa it is and I do not know what I did with the box
or paperwork that came with it. It is the one that is about 1" square and
easy to read even with my marginal eye sight. I had no issue with the
Fitbit service people when I called them. They asked me my systems and
what I had tried to resolve the issue. After talking for a few minutes,
they told me that they would send me a replacement which they did. The
replacement arrived in a few days and it has worked fine so far.

I and my spouse each have the original Fitbit Versa. They are about 1 year
old. I had an issue where display was not clear. Fitbit immediately sent me
a new watch and told me to get rid of old watch. I found their support (had
some other minor issues at times) to be very responsive in a positive way.

Thank you. Yes they sent me a new face but I think it is the charger. I have trouble shot and done everything but it only last a day

Rgr....in my case it wasn't the charger as my wife had a charger that
worked with my Versa and I tried that also. I just got a bad unit that
went belly up after a month or so.

I originally had a charger problem. Fitbit sent me a new charger (no cost
to me).

My charging issue was addressed and fixed by Fitbit. I am completely
satisfied with the responsiveness and results provided.

I think my Versa charger is dead

My Fitbit Versa stopped charging when it was five months old. I called support and after performing troubleshooting steps with the tech,  I was sent a new one.

Upon receiving my replacement Versa, I immediately put it on the charger and it still wouldn't charge. I tried to plug it into three different wall charging ports that were known to charge other devices. 

I called customer service and was asked to clean the battery charger contacts. I very gently cleaned them with a soft jewelry cleaning brush and an alcohol wipe. Still nothing. 

I am waiting for a new charger and will soon find out if it is the battery charger. 

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Once Fitbit sent me a new charger, all was OK. Good luck with 2nd
replacement charger.

Yep. Even though I got a replacement Versa, I'm still convinced it's not
the Versas but the chargers made by FitBit. Get the two pack off Amazon
(off brand) about $20 and no problems in six months

No, not exactly

My Versa would not charge and I tried my wife's charger - still would not
charge

I contacted Fitbit and explained the problem I was having. They asked me a
few question and ended up sending me a new Versa which so far has worked
just fine..
