Versa keeps disconnecting

Bluetooth/Versa keeps randomly disconnecting. No rhyme or reason as far as I can tell, I just look at my settings and see that it has disconnected. It's a pain to have to keep resetting it.

Lol, ME2U, if you don't already work for them, Amazefit should probably hire you

No I don't work for them. I just got so frustrated with the Fitbit
disconnecting and not even tracking well.

Others might have better experiences, (with the Versa) this is only my
opinion, no add intended, only recommended from my experience.
Note, the Amazefit bip might lean towards android phone. I don't have apple
to test.

Each to their own, keep smiling 😀

I have the same issue and this is number 3 Fitbit and will be last. Tired of shutting down and restarting and it still doing nothing.

Versa 2 on LG V20 here. (I know...iT's NoT oN tHe ApPrOvEd LiSt).  Same issues now for 7 months. Worst service and watch I've ever had. I don't want to keep rebooting phone and watch every time I want it to sync. As you can see from the lack of support we're given here in the thread by Fitbit, they don't care. It's a shame. They lost a lot of future business. I will not be buying another one of their devices. My $25 Wyze Band works better than this junk.

Where is this list of approved devices that I keep hearing about?

I have tried everything thing with my Versa and it also keeps disconnecting, I have even brought a new phone (old one 4 years old) and still happens, spend all this time resetting, disconnecting etc to no avail, always lasts for around 4 to 12 hours and then disconnects, hopefully you have found a fix you can share?

I'm sorry I never found an acceptable solution to this problem. I gave my
versa away to someone, (who doesn't care about a stable Bluetooth
connection), and switched to another brand of tracker.
Good luck with yours, and I hope someone finds an upgrade to the versa to
make it work for everyone.
I don't think any fix has been found, I gave up in frustration,
Sorry.

Why is this marked as ANSWERED? Fix your Bluetooth stack—it is awful!

I can't even find where to look at the blue tooth setting on my watch.  This is my second versa 2 that has done this very thing and I'm quite frustrated.  Where do I find the bluetooth screen for the watch?  Mine randomly stops sending notifications and the only way I can seem to get it to keep working is to  not have my phone connected to anything else which is completely ludicrous.  I even have to disconnect my car to get it work.  Fibit NEEDS to fix this issue.  I had no problems with my Charge HR...just wanted more features.  Makes me sorry I switched!

Me problem for me.  I go through all the troubleshooting steps and eventually get the Bluetooth reconnected to my Versa 2; but a few minutes later it is disconnected again   it is VERY frustrating to, for instance, take a bike ride and have the FitBit tell me I rode 0 miles in 2 hours. 😖😖😖😖😖

Didn’t work for me.  The Bluetooth connection lasts for a few minutes, then it’s gone again. . This has only been happening for about the past week.   Before that, it was working fine

Same here, I did notice though 1 thing a week ago and that's I had to rent
a loaner truck while mine was getting repairs and it was a Dodge Ram and
my watched stayed connected for 2 weeks great with very little issues with
being connected to BT with the Dodge but my Ford jumps all over the place.
I will say with being connected with my Ford I stay connected 40% of time
and with the Dodge 90%.

This will be the last Fitbit I will ever own and I pulled all my stock out
of the market with Fitbit.

Thank You, RDC

Update:  I switched from a LG V20 to a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra -- I no longer have issues syncing my Versa 2 to my phone.  For a week straight, I've not had a single issue syncing.  With my V20, it wouldn't sync unless I did some song and dance with restarting phone and Versa 2 and then phone and then do a rain dance then pray to a volcano then restart phone again.   It aggravates me that Fitbit doesn't make it more obvious that certain phones shouldn't even bother downloading the app because it'll never work.

I've just received this as a birthday present. This issue has ruined it for me.

Set up the device. Used for 5-20 minutes then... Gone.

Have to set it up again. And again. And again.

It's so sad.

I've spent hours rebooting, reconnecting and following internet advice but it's not fixed. How is the connection so inconsistent? What do I do about this now?

I did this, it worked again, until it forced me to do the update. Once I did the update, it stopped working again. I factory reset it and everything. For me, I think it has something to do with the latest update

I have been having the same issue with mine. They keep saying its because my phone which is a motorola one action is not compatible with the Versa but I can go a month or 2 with no issues with the bluetooth connecting to my versa then one day it just keeps disconnecting and I have to reconnect it several times which is a pain in the butt.
I very much regret spending over $200 on a watch that only sometimes works. I will definetly not be recommending this watch to anyone and I leave a review on every single site that allows me to letting others know not to waste thier money either

It’s appalling. I’ve had the exact same problem with two phones so it must be the Fitbit watch. I will never buy another Fitbit again. I’ve followed all the advice too and it never improves. Don’t know why Fitbit can’t get this sorted. Total waste of money
