I boight my versa lite a month ago and the touch screen stopped working. I restarted it numerous times but it still doesn't work. Is there anything I can do to fix it or do i need to have it replaced?

@mikestefan I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that the touch screen stopped working on your Fitbit Versa Lite. Thank you for your efforts to resolve this by restarting your watch. Before considering other options, I recommend trying to switch to a Fitbit clock face if you're using a third party clock face: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
If the issue persists, I'd like you to try a factory reset. Please note only that after doing a factory reset, all apps installed and the data that has not been synced yet to Fitbit account will be deleted. In order to do the factory reset, please do the following:

I have been having the same problem my touchscreen doesn’t work on my Fitbit Versa light, I have followed the steps and it is still not working.

Thank you for the guidance Fitbit team ...the clock faces did cause a problem looks like...my versa lite touch screen started working again after the 8sec restart.Do have it fixed with the developers so that the watch doesn’t hang again.Thank you.

Hi RK,I just did the 8secs hold down button step ,on the left side of the watch and the watch restarted with a vibration and the Fitbit logo came on.thereafter I changed the clock face to another developer and it worked fine.But occasionally it does hang the touch screen and I do the restart again.i did not do any factory reset though till now.Hope this helps.But Fitbit needs to address this hanging issue.Have a gr8 day.

Been using it for less than a month - is there some kind of virus when updating?
My display also looks odd, I can see the pixels more easily if that makes sense
I followed the "8 secs" instructions and the only thing that happened was a big battery symbol that tells me I'm at 0% power - I charged it to 100% just 6 hours ago...

I had changed the clock face as soon as Ihad restarted....it worked fine for a few days and started the same issue of hanging.....It’s weird..now .for the past 2 days the screen has started working.but yes there is a battery draining issue that’s has started.within 2 days it goes down.i have stopped connecting to Bluetooth often to just test its life span.but will write to fitbit if this continues.thanks for the update.

I’m having the same issue Iv followed your instructions and factory reset my fit bit versa lite and now it will not come back on so now I cannot use it it’s just going between a green fit big logo and a white logo can you suggest anything else I can do to get this working

My lite is 2 months old. Battery drains to less than 20% in 24 hours or less (and my usage is very minimal). The first month it held charge for about 5 days.
Also, the touchscreen is unresponsive. I cannot turn off alarms. I can't touch side button to activate screen.
I too followed the initial troubleshooting steps above but without success.

Following! My Versa Lite quit responding on the touchscreen when my alarm went off this morning. No resets have fixed the issue. I just got it last month & have a Fitbit original clock face.

Yesterday my Versa lite froze, it finally allowed me to restart after several tries, ok, this morning the screens will not advance when I swiped. I called customer service and they instructed me to restart the device to correct them problem. they also said if the problem persists to call again. my Device is still under warranty, if the problem continues I will be requesting a replacement device. but for now my device seems too be working fine after the restart.
