Versa lite touch screen not working

I boight my versa lite a month ago and the touch screen stopped working. I restarted it numerous times but it still doesn't work. Is there anything I can do to fix it or do i need to have it replaced?

I suggest that you call customer service. They are very helpful. They'll
run you through a bunch of troubleshooting. Points and if that doesn't
eliminate the problem and your under warranty they will send you a link to
receive a replacement device. I have been waiting about a week now for
mine. Should be here any day we shall see what the future brings

Call Fitbit. It's too frustrating trying to deal with it, they will replace it

I did the suggested fix I found in this thread, by plugging my fitbit into my Windows 10 laptop, and I was able to get the fitbit to take the software update and it's working again! I had to 'force stop' the fitbit app on my phone and then download the fitbit app onto my laptop, but I'm very glad that it seems to be working again.

Same thing is happening to me. I've done everything that's been suggested with the same results. Very frustrating.

honestly, call fitbit.  if it is under warranty yet they will send you a free replacement if they cant get it working again

I agree it can be frustrating my replacement versalite seems to be working
perfectly I've had it about a month we'll see long-term, customer service
seems to be responsive and they appear to be doing the right things, so
hopefully they improve their devices in the future.

I’ve been having this problem recently in the past couple weeks and I’ve tried to restart it and change the watch face and everything but the screen is still frozen and won’t let me swipe or anything. It’s frustrating. I’ve only had this Fitbit versa lite watch for a few months

I went thru this process and still not working and now intermittently i get the fitbit logo and then back to the firbit clock and not working again.  Please help.

This exact same thing happened to me. About a month after purchasing the watch. The touch screen just stopped working. I did a factory reset. Now it won’t let me update to the new firmware. It gets to about 16% and the update fails. Anyone know how long this is under warranty? I received my Versa Lite as a Christmas present in December 2019. I’ve been contacting Fitbit support on Twitter and still waiting for a response. Thank you for any info or advice!

If you contact customer service they are very helpful, they will work you through some of the troubleshooting steps,  if they do not resolve the situation they will set you up and send you a new device. they are very helpful and the process is prettysimple.  just takes a little more of your time.

I called Fitbit, they had me send a video of the screen not working. They sent me a new one right away !

Call fit bit , I just googled fit bit contact number. They had me send a video of the screen not working. They sent me a new one and I had with in 5 days !

Thank you so much for that advice. I couldn’t find the phone number anywhere on the app. I didn’t even think to just google it. I did just that, and they are sending me a replacement! I really appreciate you taking the time to reply to my post. Take care and be safe.

Thank you. My Fitbit Vrrsa Lite is 1 year old. My screen is also not working. I reset several times. It worked once then the screen faded back to black. I completed 3 factory  resets with no success. Any suggestions on what to do now? Thanks!
