Fitbit Versa is saying not charging - not enough power at the source. Have tried on a laptop, desktop, USB plug and USB plug socket. Anyone else having the same issue? Thanks in advance

I’ve had my Versa for several months. No problem with charging until tonight— get the message about outlet not having enough power. But everything else charges just fine with that outlet. It must be the charger. I’ll call Fitbit tomorrow. This is very annoying.

My Fitbit mysteriously is charging again.  I didn’t do anything. I didn’t hear from anyone from the team either.

Don't be surprised if it stops. The charging pins are thin and the metal contacts rub off. Put a piece of clear tape over the contacts before you out it on. That's what i do on my replacement and so far, no problems.

I have had my Versa for about 8 months now and since I got the replacement charger, it has worked flawlessly. I wear it all day and night and need to charge it every 4 days or so. No visible sign of wear on the contacts on the watch or charger.

For some mysterious reason, mine is charging again. But, if it stops, I’ll request a new one. Thanks. Love it!

Well, I spoke too soon. My Versa took forever to charge, and one day later, it is 100% uncharged. Looks like I need a replacement charger. Since I only have the Versa a few months, I assume it is under warranty. How do I get a new charger? Thank you.

Just call Fitbit and they should send you a new charger. In the mean time
try tying a few rubber bands around charging unit with fitbit in it. The
pressure of the rubber bands might be enough to make pin contact against
the Versa (assuming that is the reason).

Thank you. I prefer getting a new charger. The Versa fits tightly in the
current one, and I should not have to do that. I’ll give them a call. Do
you happen to have their number? If not, I’ll search for it.

877-623-4997 - only meant rubber bands as a temporary fix until new charger
arrived - good luck

I received a replacement for some touchscreen issues a month ago - it was a Birthday/Christmas present...now my charger isn't working...I tried to reset the versa, cleaning it etc and nothing...

I am sooo disappointed with this product. I was happy with charge 2 but now I don't know if I'd continue with any fitbit product as clearly versa has a lot of issues....

Sigh I NEED HELP ASAP!!!

Hi,
I got fed up. Replacement charger didn’t work so returned Fitbit for full refund. Not confident enough to try another product from anywhere else.

Fitbit replaced the unit itself when my sweat wore down the contacts. Now i put clear tape over the contacts and replace it every 3 days when i go to charge it. I use thick clear box tape.

Contact customer support. You may have a defective charger. They replaced mine right away after I contacted them. Good luck.
