Versa's battery drains fast

Why would the battery go from 53% to 0% in 3 hours? It has never drained that fast before.

Unless it backfires, and we decide to purchase a different brand that doesn't screw over its customers.

I have been having battery issues too. Before a year was up I contacted FItbit. Did diagnostic tests. Nothing different, just getting worse. Contact them again really giving them the what for!!!. They said  it was out of warranty. Nothing they could do but offer a discount on a new one. What the heck..... do I look like I want yo spend more money on a third watch. Frustrating.

Did you get a different product or another Fitbit?

Yes, I’m done with Fitbit, it’s just a scam. No one buys a watch only to
last just out of warranty. Why not have a changeable battery? I’m getting
an Apple Watch, you have to recharge more often but at least you know that
going in..

It’s sad that even after being acquired by Google, they don’t care about
loosing customers. You can tell this is a known issue and they just don’t
want to admit it.

No, Actually after I finished all my troubleshooting and reset the watch after stopping bluetooth it has performed much better.

I charged my Versa watch to 100%, then put it on before my shift (6pm). I left the Bluetooth on for notifications, since I don't necessarily keep my phone on me. This used to be my routine, and the charge would last for days. (And like others, this happened after the most recent update. The battery life changed abruptly.)

I removed all other unnecessary apps, notifications, and settings to lowest battery usage. Tonight, my battery was dead by the end of my shift (just over 12 hours). I'm going to try a factory reset after it's charged. Any other ideas?

Then I'm done. I need a watch that functions as intended. I'll upgrade when I'm enamored with added features, not coerced because it doesn't work anymore. My Timex Ironman Triathlon is looking good once again.

How unfortunate, Fitbit. I had acquired such cute watch bands and accessories. What a waste.

Use only Fitbit clock faces, other clock faces can really drain. I
switched back to a Fitbit clock face and it does last longer, but is no
fun. I read yesterday after the last update they had problems and
glitches and if you call they should replace your watch, even if not under
warranty. I’ll try and find it and send it to you!

I only use a Fitbit clock face. I did find that other, cute ones, do drain the battery faster. The one I was using has low usage, requiring charging only about every four days...until the recent update and subsequent problems.

WABilly, how can you use it without bluetooth enabled? Doesn't it require bluetooth to sync?

did they replace your watch? mine is just over a year old and in the last few weeks the battery is draining really fast. I might as well get an apple watch if I have to charge it every day anyway. I also notice it gets up to 99% and then sits there for hours before it goes to 100%.

No, they did not replace my watch. It was just a week over the warranty date so they wouldn't do anything.  The "test" they had me do on the performance was a joke.  They said the battery usage was normal. I explained that before the firmware update I could go several days  before charging and after update I was charging it every other day. They didn't seem to care. They even told me to turn off notifications and communication with my phone. What's  the point of having the watch if I can't use the features it has.  I'll use it until it tanks and then no more Fitbits.

I only turn it on for the iPad when I want to sync and then turn it off again. I also can use WiFi.

Three fitbits turned out to be garbage in my family. Apple watches still working perfect well over a year after purchase. I will never buy another fitbit product.

Completely agree, wish i would have just went with apple from the beginning. I will never buy a fitbit product again.

I spoke to versa this morning and they could see my watch wasnt holding charge and I'm still under warranty so they've sent me a return label and going to send me another out

Nice, but mine was like just over the warranty.... I expect an expensive
watch to last more than a year, or at least allow batteries to be
changed... Fitbit is a crappy company. I tell everyone not to ever buy!

I’ve only had my versa 2 days and from fully charged, my battery drained 50% last night while I was sleeping.
