I have received my Versa Thursday and after 2 hours of charging it. The battery got drained within 6 hours. I have charge it on a PC. last night, slept with the watch to wake up to see my watch is down to 0%. Any other user having this problem? Should I waiy for an update to correct that or its a harware problem. Thank you for your answers.

That’s awesome however, you should be able to use the device and the
functionality that you paid for and not have to attached to the charger
while running lol Fitbit has completely face planted with this device.
Between the battery issues and the fact that you cannot have more than 1
Versa on your account and you can’t have a Versa and an Ionic... is a clear
sign that there is not good thoughgnleadership at the top. The fact that
people have been screaming about this for months now, and Fitbit hasn’t
responded, or been honest enough to discuss the plan for when this will be
resolved speaks to the integrity. It’s just sad.

My short story.  I had my Versa for about 6 weeks and it worked as advertise, very happy with it.  Then late last week it I noticed it dead so I charged it to 100%.  Less than 24 hrs it was dead again.  Charged it again and it only stayed charged for roughly 12 hrs.  Today, it is completely dead and won't charge.  Not sure if its a battery issue or something else.  I contacted support and luckily they are replacing it (still waiting for the shipping label to show up in my email).

Just received my versa yesterday. Charged fully and as of right now it needs to be charged as its in the yellow.  I was told it gets 3-4 days.  I’m not going to make it 2.  No downloading either.

My version is also 32.10.15. It lasted 4 days on its first charge, but less than 2 days on later charge, regardless of sync and screen settings. I think the facts that its current battery drop rate of 2% per hour does not vary much with settings and that it lasted 4 days on the first charge suggest this must be a software issue that fitbit ought to fix. If I just got a bad battery at least changing settings would have some benefit.

Update from me: I have had my replacement Versa about a month now & so far I am still getting 5 days battery life. I am running standard clock face, all day sync & the clock face turns on when I flick my wrist (forgotten what that is called) I am on version 32.10.15.

I am hoping this will continue & am not wanting to update version's while it is still working ok.

I would love to hear some feed back from Fitbit regarding the issues everyone is experiencing.

Hi Lucy,

I'm having a real hard time with the battery life on my Versa too...

Tried all the suggestions on this site, no luck.

My battery is dead within 11hrs.

How long before a software update?  It's got to be a software glitch for all of us to have this problem.

Thanks,

D

I'm starting to think buying this Fitbit versa was a bad idea .... like I previously stated I bought this a couple days ago. Today it was fully charged this morning at 7 AM, and I just checked it now at 9 PM and it's on medium (50%or below?!?) What the heck, I thought it was suppose to last 4 + days?! Anyone else have this problem? And no I was not on it at all at work, but when I came home I worked out and started my timer on my Fitbit  ... so at the most I was on it (messing with it ) for an hour or so.... is my Fitbit broken, or is this normal?

Ive been using mine for around 40hrs now since full charge, currently at 58% battery. I was playing with it a fair bit the other day being my first full day using it. I have also done 2 workouts with it so far (timers turned on while working out).

If you havent been playing with it at all and its already below 50% before even 24hrs i would suspect your battery mat be faulty.

Oh wow! 40 hrs ...yeah you're probably right, I will probably have to look into this more.

Thank you for replying to my comment!! 😊

Hi,

I have no issues with battery life however read loads of comments from people who have.

Mine lasts around 4 days after it is fully charged, currently 70% left after two days of wearing (I do not play with that though, only track exercise but no payment, no games, no fitbit coach etc..)

Hey guys! @fash202 and @Enorto, welcome to the Community! That is correct, the battery of the Fitbit Versa should last up to 4 days with normal use. Just keep in mind that the reason why it lasts less than other Fitbit devices is because it is a smartwatch and of course the apps usage, the syncing and everything, makes  it'll consume even more. But we have tips to make it last longer. Just take a look at this post and follow them.

Hey @Zuza0306, thanks for sharing your comments. It is not like you can't use any app on it, 'cause was meant for it, just keep in mind that the fact that you use it very often, will make it drain more battery. and when you charge it, please make sure to fully charge it. That'll help the battery last longer.

Keep me posted guys!

Hey @Mommafinn, welcome to the Community! Have you also tried the suggestions I posted above? To make the battery of your Versa lasts longer? If you haven't, please give a try and keep an eye on the battery level. If still draining in a day, let me know.

Have a nice day!

What clockface? Some use more battery than others.

Fitbit's own clockfaces should last 4+ days (mine lasts up to almost 6 days, with everything enabled), I'd contact support.
