My Versa stopped receiving notifications a few days ago. I've done a lot of troubleshooting and it still won't receive notifications. It's not even receiving the test call notification. It's still paired to my phone and syncing with the app but I'm not receiving notifications on my Versa. I don't know what else to do.

Ok so turn off your fitbit and delete the app
Turn your fitbit back on and reinstall the app
It's something to do with the permissions so
Set to allow all all the time and that seemed to work
Call test work and text notifications are back
U will also have to reset the permissions on your phone to what to allow
If this worked for me it will work for you

I'm being dim. How do you turn off a fitbit versa 2? I know how to restart one but it doesn't stay turned off

Hi @Jammy2399 - you can turn it off from the watch Settings, About menu with Shutdown.
However if you charge it it will autostart.

i did not turn Versa 2 off, Just re-installed App, set permissions for device to access Note20, and checked what apps i wanted to get sent to Versa 2. Seemed to work right away, when I ran the test function in app, it held my previous setting in app. i just got off work and then went to sleep and did feel versa 2 going off with alerts and woke up to see a history on versa2 when you swipe down from the top of the screen. So far is working great. Have read other posts and think fixes may be slightly different set up for app and permissions.... not for sure but worth looking into. Don't give up, keep on moving

Ok, I can confirm (for Android) that the power off/uninstall/reinstall Fitbit app does (seem) to work to bring notifications back.
Previously - this was not a fix - as I had tried that as well as multiple full factory resets of my device as well as several app re-installs. So this does seem to (for the moment) be working as a work-around fix for Android users.
Not sure about Apple users (sorry guys 😞 ) as I do not have an iOS device that I can test with. From the replies in the thread, it seems that iOS users are not seeing this fix the notification issue at this time.
So - until they fully fix this - there is a workaround for Android users.
Android users: Make sure that you are running at least Android ver 12, make sure to install the latest version of the app (35.72.1.19), and make sure to set alllllll of the permissions on reinstall. Keep your device off until you have fully re-configured the app, and then power it back on and sync.
Hopefully this is perma-fixed soon for everyone 😞
