Versa stopped receiving notifications from Android phone

My Versa stopped receiving notifications a few days ago. I've done a lot of troubleshooting and it still won't receive notifications. It's not even receiving the test call notification. It's still paired to my phone and syncing with the app but I'm not receiving notifications on my Versa. I don't know what else to do.

Fitbits solution is for customers to buy a new product rather than fix the bug.

Have they offered a solution? It seems they have just told so many others that despite the update causingthe issue its the customers who should pay to get a new one.

Same here. They fixed the issue with the Charge but they don't seem interested in versa customers. I not not one fitbit representative has replied to any of our comments !

How did you manage that? They just tell me they understand my frustration. One fitbit worker told me if it was them they would splash all over the social media to get fitbit to reply!

Exactly they told me they would give me a credit or a discount on my next watch. How are you go about doing a joint email.

After a few weeks ! This is what I received a few days ago - have to say all working ok for now

 

 

  • Update the iOS version to 15.6.
    • Open the phone's settings > General > Software Update.
  • From the clock face of the Fitbit, swipe down from the top of your screen. After your notifications appear, swipe down again to open the control center. Tap the quick settings icon then look for the Do Not Disturb icon and Sleep Mode icon, make sure that they are turned off.
  • Refresh notifications:
    1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab   your profile picture  your device image.
    2.  Tap Notifications, then turn off all notifications.
    3. Restart your phone.
    4. Open the Fitbit app and turn notifications back on, then sync your Fitbit device.
  • Set up notifications again:
    1. Tell your phone to "forget" the bluetooth connection to your Fitbit device:
      1. On your phone, tap Settings  Bluetooth.
      2. Tap the information icon  or gear icon  next to the name of your Fitbit device.
      3. Find the option to forget the device.
    2. Open the Fitbit app and set up notifications again, then sync your Fitbit device.

It's clear Fitbit doesn't give a crap. I gave up and bought a Samsung 4 watch. So far, I'm much happier.

Thinking of doing the same. Shame as I loved my fitbit . Clearly fitbit don't care as many people have reported the same issue. It does make you wonder whether its intentional!

What is wrong with  the notifications? Not responding on my watch

So I was so excited getting the Versa 4 after my Versa 2 died. Initially, everything works great. After a while, 6-12 hours, notifications stop and the app displays an error to restart your phone. That doesn't work, you have to clear the app's data and log back in. Over and over.

You don't need to uninstall/reinstall at least, but still.

After almost 2 weeks, I got customer support to acknowledge " There's an issue and we're working on it". That's how long it took for them to acknowledge it wasn't user error.

I returned the Versa 4 and got a Versa 3. It has the same issue but for $100 less.

Anyone else still having the issue?
