Well I brought a brand new Versa and it wasn’t a current update so i factory reset it and now it won’t turn back on. What is going on Fitbit? Pulled it out of the packet yesterday!

I was wondering what you did to fix it, mine won't charge says 0% everytime i try all 3 button . I've tried 2 different chargers

I returned it and got a refund. Upgraded to the Versa 2. Something has to be wrong with the latest firmware of the Versa I’ve read of so many people suddenly having problems. Fitbit were not helpful. Have me a run around with things to try. Watch was completely dead no lights no vibrations wouldn’t charge. My friends watch has just done the same thing after a factory reset. Was sluggish so done the reset and won’t turn back on hers is out of warranty though so she’s now without a watch I’m glad I did a reset on the my new one and it happened while it was still brand new.

Yes mine done the exact thing after a factory reset i had to reset it
because the time was off by 10 minutes after the time change and everything
else i tried didn't work and after i done a factory reset it died
completely won't charge changed chargers still nothing. It will
occasionally say 0% and its out of warranty so all fitbit offered was 25%
off and luckily i still had my charge 2 so I've been using it. I just feel
like Fitbit should offer something better because it was nothing i did
wrong and other people have been having the same issue

Yep! It’s def on fitbits end I think it’s just horrible they are taking no responsibility for it. 25% off is ridiculous considering the Retailers sell the watches cheaper then actual Fitbit do so that’s basically their mark up anyways. Retailer told me they were all lemons and have had so many returned. I got the Versa 2 this time since it was for my daughter and the rest of our family still have fitbits working (won’t be doing a reset anytime soon) once I need a new one I’ll be going back to Garmin or try an Apple Watch

mine as well.

I was working fine till this evening, when I remove my fitbit and give my wrist a rest.

When I tried to wear back, it had given me black screen, and now, it refuse to on back, I hold the three buttons, and logo disappear once it appear.

No matter how long I hold, it cant go back, and I didnt feel the strong vibration.

This is a replacement fitbit already, my original one dead before one year up, please assist!

I experienced the same issue at the end of Feb. My Versa's time was off and I noticed a firmware update was available. After the update, my Versa was completely dead, would not charge, holding any combination of buttons for over 4 minutes will not revive it. I purchased another charging dock just in case my original was defective.

I did an online chat with a Fitbit CS agent today, their only offer was 25% discount. Mine was out of warranty (purchased June 2018). I have been a Pebble owner since the original was released, purchased an original Apple Watch and preferred my Pebble, own a Steel and Pebble 2, was in the pipeline for a Pebble Core. I appreciate the Pebble OS inside my Fitbit and was relieved when Fitbit purchased Pebble's IP/OS, and that's why I chose to purchase the Versa over any other smartwatch. I bought an Aria 2 scale to complement my Versa and track my weight.

If this is how Fitbit treats their customers after bricking my Versa after a firmware update, then I'm out.

My versa has stopped working and is completely black. I had just charged it and selected a new screen saver, later that day it just completely stopped working. I have had it in the charger for 2 days hoping it would restart it or something. I have followed all the steps to try to restart and reset my versa but the screen won’t light up at all. I don’t know what else to do from here.

As far as I can tell, after all the problems everyone has had with the Versa after their new firmware update, the only relief anyone is getting is a 20% discount.  They are not taking responsibility, even though it is evident the problems were a result of their update.  Also I have found if you say anything negative on this thread they delete your messages.  I guess it is only available to post questions, but not facts.

I have the same problem. Charged it up friday,  checked the time this morning (sunday) and it said 0% battery. I have left it on charge for the last 2 hours tried all the steps to restart it and nothing. This is the second versa I've had that this has happened too, I'm not very happy as they are not cheap to buy!

Only if it's within their return period.  Many of us have the Versa and that update that crippled them came out in Dec 2019

I have tried the quick reboot and the factory reboot. Neither work after 60 seconds of holding down the buttons. Power is still working as I see the green light on the back still flashing occasionally.   Watch is not more than a year old.

After you did the factory reset could you see anything on the screen?  after doing a factory reset the watch should come up looking like the day you bought it and you have to follow the procedures like it's brand new.
