Last night I left it charging because the app was showing battery low and today I am trying to turn it on and nothing is happening. Anybody is facing the same problem?

Please help!

I agree..grant it the last person I talked to is the only one who. Don't
get me wrong he did try to make me feel like an idiot. The reps do not
know about their product at all. It's always different questions and no
one really wants to help.

The way I received help was of the forum

Make sure your charger is actually charging your Versa. I used my friend's
charger to make sure but to no avail. Sorry I have no answers for you.☹

Do you know how long Apple watches last by chance? Yes Fitbit needs to fix
this problem. I would never recommend them to anyone!

I had a apple phone and hated it. I switched phones. For me I wouldn't by
a apple watch. If the phone doesn't work correctly then I'm sure the watch
won't either

Thanks for your suggestion, we charged my husband's versa this morning and
it worked fine.

You're one of the very few that it worked. Just make sure everything is
working correctly on it. When the weather said it was below zero and it's
80 I knew I was having issues again

Just to clarify, my husband's charged using my charger. My versa is still
not working 😒

I understand that electronics won’t last forever and that is okay. But Fitbit don’t have any repair center so after a year (when your warranty expires) if your watch stop working then you have no option other than throwing it and buying a new one. I’m okay to pay few bucks and getting it repaired but “Repair” concept doesn’t exist for fitbit. That’s frustrating.

I agree but there are a number of us that have the same problem. I had
mine less than 6 months while others had theirs for around a year.

If you pay good money you expect the product to last. I don't have an
extra $200 laying around to keep buying them.

Hi,

My versa is just over a year old and hasn’t worked since April. The screen is just blank. I’ve tried all the button pressing variations and the most I got is the screen turning from dark black to dark purple.

It seems to connect to my phone but lists no activity.

I have no use for it any more and wondered if you’d like it back.

Incidentally what is your policy on disposal. Do I put it with waste batteries.

Regards,

Very frustrating indeed, I had the same black screen problem with my first Versa. They were great in getting a replacement to me however I am reading all these comments of people that are on their third Versa. It's clear they are just hoping to ride out the warranties on this watch and do not intend to fix the issue. As such, I'd rather have my money back then get another watch that I cannot rely on. My first one only lasted three months. I'm already having problems with this one getting stuck on screens. I keep thinking it's just user error but I never struggled like this with the first one so I can't imagine this issue is a user issue. A few other weird things occur as well like even though I turned off the pin code feature it's still on and makes me enter a pin number at random times.

When I try to do a swimming exercise, getting off that screen is a nightmare. Nothing I do gets me off that screen. I end up stuck on that screen for days. I can't even see what time it is because of that screen. Totally frustrating.

The right thing to do is to recall this watch and offer a refund or another comparable watch that works.

I have had $10.00 watches that have lasted 3+ years. For $250.00 I would hope to get at least 3 years out of it...or longer. I really just want my money back.

Hello,

I tried holding down the buttons, for ten seconds and several minutes... Unfortunately it did not work 😞

I've only had the fitbit for half a year, last night I was on a walk when it died. I came home, popped it on the charger and took it off once it was above 90%. I woke up this morning and couldn't get it to turn in at all.

It's back in the charger again, but I never received a message saying the battery was low again.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

You would have to call Fitbit.

Lordsnooty here I didn't abandon anyone. I am just an ordinary guy like yourself who happens to have a Versa which had a problem with not coming on after what appears to be over charging. I am not a moderator or someone who knows how this device works all I am someone who found a solution (myself) on how to fix a versa that wouldn't wake up.

Yet I got abuse from one person who claimed I was on her feed and would I stop it. This was completely wrong, I was not on her feed.  Not did I abandon this thread as you claimed

My tuppence worth is this:-

Most of these problems appear to stem from over charging the Versa. I did that and immediately it wouldn't turn on. So I stupidly put it on the charger for a whole day. Still it wouldn't come on. Then I thought maybe this device has been overcharged so I left it for a day or so and then I held down the three buttons until the Fitbit logo came up (this appeared to be 3 to 5 minutes).. It came up with the wrong time, so I went on to my PC and removed the Versa from my dashboard and reinstalled it and then the time was right.

A year on it is still working and now I get into a routine of every 2 or 3 days taking off the Versa from my wrist and charging it before I go into a shower and by the time I have finished it is charged and ready to go.

So anyone that can't get their Fitbit to come on after charging then I would say leave it for a day or so and then hold the 3 buttons down until the Fitbit Logo comes up (that can be 3 to 5 minutes)

If that doesn't work then I would suggest giving Customer Services a call and tell them what have you done and ask them to send you a replacement. But PLEASE do not abuse me or tell lies about me because I am just trying to help...no more, no less

That doesn't work. I only charged mine when it says battery low and even
then I wait until it gets a little lower before charging it. Over charging
it is absurd. It lets you know when to charge it by the app and email.

The issue was still not solved it is the black screen with nothing
happening.

I don't think Fitbit reads these posts. Anybody know? I think this is
just a public forum for Fitbit owners who have problems with their
Fitbits. Beyond belief that they keep breaking like this!!

I honestly don't think they do.

I recently read that they've changed when you should charge the new batteries, all the rechargeable not just fitbit, they say keep it between 20 and 90%. That being said since I got my new one I charge it for 1/2 hour or so each night, and I synced it to my PC not my phone. When it was synced to my phone they spent the whole day seeking each other, bad for the fitbit and my phone.
