Fitbit Update: 12/18/19
Hi everyone,
When this thread started earlier this year, the issue was that waterlogging on the watch was not syncing over to the Fitbit app. No matter what you would log, it just wouldn't show up in the Fitbit app and didn't sync the information over.
Now, we're seeing reports that waterlogging is syncing over, but it is the wrong amount of water that was logged onto the watch. To keep threads organized and on-topic, I'm now going to close this thread and move the conversation here: Water Logging syncs incorrect amount to app.I've already merged some posts from this thread into that one.
If you're experiencing this new issue after updating to Fitbit OS 4.1, follow that thread for updates.

I am having the same problem, and the troubleshooting isn’t working. When will this get fixed?

Gonna break this down again step by step.
Step one-delete device from Bluetooth in ur phone settings.
Step two- forget versa in app by clicking remove this versa.
Step three- restore ur Fitbit to factory default.
Step four- start normal setup over again with both the app and watch.
Simple as that. U should be requested to update as well as enter a four digit passcode, connect to WiFi and et cetera.
Do this and it fixes the issue thus allowing you to log weight and water and whatever else.
I literally don’t log any water from my phone. All watch based.
The problem comes from Bluetooth being lost then reconnecting. Somehow it fails to do so and the connection isn’t secure on the phones receiving end.
Fitbit has done their part. Their update is solid. It’s a Bluetooth issue and Bluetooth is only as good as the device it connects to.

Not true at all @Creoleotter. Fitbit staff is well aware of the water logging issue and have (several times) stated the fact that it has not yet been fixed and they are still working on it. It is not a bluetooth issue. It is a glitch on Fitbit's part. They have stated that they will post an update here once the issue has been resolved.

@Sherrilynnstock you can't fix it. As Fitbit has already stated, they are working on it.

@Creoleotter no it is not a bot message. I have been in touch with Fitbit staff directly (several people including management). Yes, yours is working and so are a few others (lucky you), however for most Fitbit users the issue persists and Fitbit is working on resolving it for everyone.

@angienshon it didn't work because Fitbit hasn't fixed the issue yet. That's what this whole thread is about.

@Fitlark I've had this problem too since day 1 (so have many other users). Fitbit is working on it; however, there are other issues and rollouts that take priority over logging water. I would like to see this problem fixed soon too.

I went thru all the resetting and the water logged on my watch still doesn't show in the app, and now I can't get the bitmoji clock face to re-download to my watch.

Hello guys! I'm here to help, my apologies for the delayed reply. I'd like to begin giving a warm welcome to our Community Forums to @ksmith11 @JenGlot @Looceefur @Hannahbrown @Utua @rithvikvibhu @Sherrilynnstock @Creoleotter @amy3505. It's nice to see you again participating in our forums @TheIgster @AD1971 @brittanys28 @Fitlark @AndreKramer @Fitlark @angienshon @sgiff welcome back!
I'd like to share that we are aware of this situation and working to find the specific reason of this situation and why is affecting our devices. At this specific moment, I'm unable to give you an specific date of when this will be resolved. Rest assured, we are working hard to resolve it as soon as possible. Your understanding and patience are appreciate while we work to improve our products and services. Also, thanks for troubleshooting this with us and prior posting too.
@JenGlot Regarding your Hourly Activity goal situation, I recommend you to force quit the Fitbit app then uninstall it. After doing that, please reboot your mobile device and reinstall the Fitbit app again and sync your Versa watch to see if this matter persist.
@angienshon To perform a factory reset on your device, you just need to open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data just as @Creoleotter advised. Please note that our factory reset will not resolve the water log situation, therefore, I don't recommend you to try this procedure for this concern because it will delete all the stored data on your device
@sgiff Regarding the difficulties experienced with the Bitmoji clockf ace, I recommend you to check our help article: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device? for more information and details, specifically on How do I install the Bitmoji Clock Face? and let me know how it goes.
@rithvikvibhu @Creoleotter @AD1971 Thanks for your comments, suggestions and sharing your experience with other users guys, the willingness to help is always appreciated.
I'll be around. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

It sure is reassuring to here the same basic line we have heard for about 6 months now. I feel so much better after trying all the fixes and restarts that now you are working on it. I suppose this is different from other messages that say you aree working on it

I returned the one that won’t log water. The exchange won’t download Pandora. What does it take to get one of these that works?
