we recently bought 2 versas...one for my husband one for me. Bought them 6 days ago. I set them up both the same way with no problems. On day 2 of having them we both received a notification on our phones that our fitbit app had updated. Ever since then my versa has not been receiving text message notifications. My husbands is working fine. I receive all other notifications (messenger, email, calendar, life360, facebook, instagram, etc. I have called customer support and done a live chat with no resoulution. I have looked on the forum and have not found an answer. I even factoy reset the versa and deleted the app restarted my phone and started all over again. That didnt work. I have went through all the troubleshooting that the support has had me do. Has anyone had this problem? It was working until I got that message that the app updated. I didnt change anything on my versa or my phone. It was working then it quit. My husbands is working and he has the same phone and same style versa. Below is the phone i have...

Mine also stopped receiving text messages after the update. I get all other notifications just fine.

what kind of phone do you have? good to know I am not the only one that is having an issue. They act like I don't know what I am doing and tell me my fitbit is fine and it is apparently not.

I have sat with my phone and my husband's phone side by side. All the settings are the same. He has the same phone as I do.

Only thing I found different was the version of fitbit app I have. His is 2.95 mi e is 3.0

I am having the exact same issue. I can get all my other notifications but not text. I have a Galaxy Note 9. It was working fine on Thursday then Friday no text notifications.

I have the same issue! I noticed yesterday that my watch wasn't receiving any of my text message notifications even though it still received all of the other notifications. I also have a Samsung Galaxy S9 and my apps version is 3.0. Hopefully Fitbit finds an answer soon.

I have had the exact same problem since I updated the app on Thursday night. I've reset my Fitbit, disabled notifications and restarted them, nothing has worked. I too have a Galaxy S9.

I have a Samsung s8+.
I have not received a text on my versa since 06-26-19. I receive all other notifications. I have tried all troubleshooting suggestions. Reset to factory settings and nothing. Removed device from phone, added it back and restarted phone. Still nothing has worked. Getting a little irritated.

Same situation here. My husband and I have exact same phones and versas, mine does not receive text notifications, I still get phone call and calendar notifications. I've done all the things they've advised to do as well to no avail. Only thing different for us, he has newer app update and I dont have it yet. We have Samsung s9

All I keep getting is we are working on it. The more people who call and let them know the quicker they will fix it maybe.

I had the same problem. I was so frustrated. Every other notification was working but not text. I finally decided to try switching from the samsung default messaging app to google messages and that actually worked for me. I now get my text notifications as well as the others.

I am also having that same issue All other notifications work fine But no text message notifications. Really annoying as that's the whole point right??I have done all the steps short of factory reset which doesn't seem to do anything to resolve the issue . Hopefully they get it corrected soon or I'm just going to switch to the galaxy watch as I have a galaxy s9+ now
