Maintain Fitbit web dashboard going forward

As an older user, my eyesight and hand eye coordination are poor. So, I prefer the website dashboard on my PC. That dashboard keeps directing us to the mobile app. Please assure you will continue maintaining both as I cannot rely solely on the mobile app. Please consider all of your customers when providing tools. Many thanks!

It is definitely gone now. Oh well, time to vote with the checkbook.

Feel the same way. If mine was not just 1 year old I would be switching
too. I still might.

I am visually impaired and use, or used, the website daily.  If you do not bring back the website, I will be forced to get another tracker.  I've had my fitbit for almost 10 years, but I think this change is horrible.  I'll give it maybe 2 months, and if it isn't returned, bye bye fitbit.

Yes! Please bring back the dashboard. It is MUCH better than the app. It's annoying, Google comes in and buys Fitbit then a year or so later you guys bring down the best part of my Fitbit experience. This is literally the only thing keeping me hanging on to Fitbit and I'm already looking for a new device and platform because of it.

Please bring back the dashboard. It is easier to use, the layout is ten million times better, there are many features only available in the dashboard that aren't available in the app. Logging food is even better in the dashboard. This going away is steering me towards finding a new fitness tracker and platform all together.

Many people have found better options, I’m sure you will also.

It is very saddening that you would remove the desktop / browser dashboard. As a developer, I know it didn't take many resources to keep it going, you guys never even update it. I have always used the dashboard when possible and only resorted to the app when I had to on the go. The dashboard is more robust, user friendly, has more features than the app and even has a better layout. Losing the browser dashboard is enough to make me switch fitness trackers and platforms.

My thoughts exactly. Time to Move😎

as a diabetic with a volatile glucose level, I've used the Versa 4 to monitor exercise and the browser dashboard to log everything I've eaten for the past 4 years to help in monitoring my blood sugar which is impossible to do in the phone app.  This is not good that the browser view is gone.  Not sure what I can do.

"Why is Fitbit collecting community feedback...?

Because your voice is important to us!"

Yeah, sure. The user's voice is "important" unless they ask for something Fitbit doesn't wanna do

I agree.  I have difficulty using it on my phone and would prefer to continue to have the option to use it on my computer.

I was planning on upgrading my device.  Not anymore. Google is just to big to give a crap about it's Fitbit users. Going to start researching and find something new.

A $2 trillion company can't afford to run a website that was already completely coded and up and running? Give me a break. What am I paying for? An app that sucks? Please turn the website on again.

Without the website, Fitbit is no longer of any use to me.  Fitbit just lost another potential lifetime user.  Time to find a product with better support, one who doesn't treat users like insignificant data cattle.

I totally agree. Could we start an organized protest somehow? Or is just quitting better?

There are two features that are on the browser version that are not on the app. 1. The ability to create/edit meals that I can select instead of entering each food separately; this saves me a lot of time. 2. The ability to edit the name of my Workout sessions; which helps me determine which workouts are the most effective. How can I do this on the app? Will the app be updated to add these features?

I agree with all the other commenters here.  The web browser dashboard is far superior to the app on the fitbit.  Taking away the web dashboard limits the usefullness of the device to me.  Now there's nothing to keep me from switching to a competitor.  Bring back the web dashboard.

I wanted to make an official comment about the removal of the dashboard. It is terrible to take that away! Why is it gone?!? I do not like accessing it on only the app! (Seems I'm not the only one either!) I also pay extra for Fitbit premium and expect to be able to access my information wherever and whenever it is convenient for me.

Yes, I totally agree!!!! PLEASE bring back the dashboard. I am older and can't see the app very well. I enjoy using Fitbit to track everything and I would hate to have to stop using it.

I had preset meals in dashboard and now are gone. I also had logged over a month out to keep a menu and standard log and now all gone. I’ll be looking for another avenue if dashboard does not return

The dashboard is an absolute must.  Please bring it back or I'm finding another tracker.

It's far easier to use the web version of Fitbit and the data is better displayed and clearer to see. I had my suspicions when I started getting asked to log in all the time - more than once per session, very often - that you were trying to make the website harder to access so people would give up trying. Have you not heard of the idea of giving customers what they want? OK, there may be people who prefer to access their Fitbit data by phone but please have a care for the rest of us. I'm already looking at other providers; I'll be sorry to leave Fitbit, as up till a little while ago it was always my favourite, but if you can't accommodate people like me (and the other people on this thread - I'm clearly not alone) I'll have to, because this phone-only business isn't acceptable to me.

@Stuart_C  Regarding your vision impairment (and the accessibility of the dashboard as compared to the app), you can contact Google's Disability Support team and open a case with them.  Here is the contact information: https://support.google.com/accessibility/answer/7641084

On weekdays there is the ability to speak by phone, use a chat, or use alternative contact methods.
