Maintain Fitbit web dashboard going forward

As an older user, my eyesight and hand eye coordination are poor. So, I prefer the website dashboard on my PC. That dashboard keeps directing us to the mobile app. Please assure you will continue maintaining both as I cannot rely solely on the mobile app. Please consider all of your customers when providing tools. Many thanks!

Not being able to access my dashboard on the computer has caused me already considerable hardship. It needs to be brought back because I cannot use the phone app while trying to input info into my other forms.

as of July 8, 2024 there is no more dashboard on the computer. Fitbit's announcement about the dashboard

I also would like to access the dashboard on my PC. I have both the watch and the scale, and I like seeing my progress each day. I'm 76 years old, and my phone is too small to read all the information. Please return the dashboard so I can view it on my computer.

They used to have a fully functional website until they (Google) decided to shut it down about 10 days ago.  Many people, including myself, are very disapointed about that.  So good luck asking them to create a new one...

NO MORE FITBIT,

I do not want to be tied to a phone and apps,  if I can use a computer I can't use fitbit

22 pages in one thread (of many threads) full of upset customers, many of whom *cannot* continue to use the product, and not a peep of acknowledgment.  Not even a token "we'll work to improve accessibility on the app" nod. Astounding and illustrative, I guess.

Like others, I've started using MyFitnessPal for most of my needs now. The first chance I get, I'll be replacing the watch as well. Among boneheaded, tone-deaf moves, this one ranks high, Google.

I’m done.

garmin gear arrived today, and I’m never going Fitbit again.

I needed something simple - but Fitbit took the data access away, so now I’ve gone for something that at least is useful.

Fitbit Management, Google Over Lords,

Since you have disabled all other manners of communicating with you I shall post this in the forums.

I regret to inform you that the Charge Five was the last Fitbit device I have ever bought. I have been a loyal Fitbit user for over twenty years, but the time has come for us to part.

You took away our beloved web dashboard, the one thing that made Fitbit stand out.

Without consulting us, you took away something almost perfect, and told us to suck it up and rely on the phone app from now on. The phone app that does not even come close to what the web dashboard was...

So **ahem** you, **ahem** the horse you rode in on, and **ahem** the whole **ahem**ing cavalry behind you!

I will use this Fitbit until it breaks (which should be within the next two years) and then I will go look for an alternative that suits my needs.

Thanks for the times you made great products, and for the times when you provided great service, and listened to your users. A shame those times are over...

I too need this feature, it's just easier and clearer, able to open tabs for example.

Using the web interface, dashboard is one of, if not, THE reason I stuck and chose with Fitbit on my second device (2 watches on seperate accounts). Other brands didn't provide this.

It's especially easier to compare data between days for example, using the phone app I'd have to take screenshots , what a hassle

I'm still confused what happened with the Google migration between my two devices and have time for that but this dashboard web interface removal takes the cake.

I've lost interest using my Fitbits since these changes, I pretty much just use my watches for time now, nothing else, not even nfc paying (which had other frustrating changes too)

Was ok before and needed small improvements, steps forwards not backwards. WTF really cares about AI gimmicks?

I also will not buy another fitbit if the dashboard is not brought back. Because of vision issues I rely on it.

The app doesn't allow to enter a specific date range for the weight section.  Only pre-defined dates, like 1 month, 3 month, all time.  In addition, it doesn't tell me how much I have lost over a given date range (only how much since I entered a new goal).  I have gone back to using a spreadsheet to track my weight loss. Frustrating!  Fitbit has gone totally backward in a time that technology had the capability to provide so much.

I cannot find anything now.  I tried to download data.  It said it was completed, but where do I find this?  If it isn't on my computer of in e-mail, how do I

access anything?

It is truly terrible, isn't it ! Fitbit - you should all be ashamed of yourselves !!

I prefer to review my stats on my laptop in the morning with a coffee.  I have the App on my phone.  It is not exactly user friendly to see everything you want to see on the phone screen compared to the laptop screen.

Did Fitbit/Google even ask their users if they wanted this change?  It appears not, as I was not asked and I am online every day.  It seems one day the dashboard was available on the laptop, the next day it was not.  No warning, no vote on whether the users wanted it.  Just gone and figure it out yourself.

I am not happy with this change.  I was the dashboard back on my laptop, please and thank you!

I did see notification that I would no longer be able to access my data on my computer as of July. I contacted them at that time. Frankly, I don't think they give a tinker's **ahem** about what we think.

Once my watch fails, it will be my last fitbit watch.  Bring Dashboard please.  I want to stay a customer as I have for over 20 years.

I too am really annoyed about the loss of the dashboard.  It is MUCH TO SMALL to study our long term graphs and trends on a phone.  I depended totally on the big screen version on my desktop for planning activities, meals, etc.  I will not replace my current Fitbit if you do not replace the dashboard feature, and seriously, how expensive can that be, given your huge market share.  I am a long time user and very disappointed.  I hope you HEAR all your clients, especially those who are older and or vision impaired.

As a senior who has used Fitbit for many years, I am so disappointed that the dashboard no longer works and the download I tried is completely unusable.

Please consider bringing back the website with dashboard.  I am a computer person not a phone person.  I need a larger screen and a real keyboard to track and view my exercise activity.  I wished you would have asked us first what WE wanted.  Dashboard is very important to me.  I am disappointed with how you Fitbit/Google or whatever has handled this.  As for a cell phone iseems to be the only way for us to view Fitbit. I am not happy with it.  I am not one to walk around with a phone glued to my hand. Because I can't see it.  I tell people, email me! And if you want me to look up something, I use a real computer. Asking around my circle of fitness friends and getting ideas to go elsewhere if needed.  Right now I'm holding out but I don't know how much longer I can.

I wonder if this is a form of discrimination?

Fitbit evidently doesn't want me to consider using a fitbit product since a smart phone is mandatory

Nothing more than a business model that apparently works rather well for Google.
