Fitbit app - Food Fitbit App Deleting Food Logs Immediately

I was trying to log my food today and it will not show any food when I put an item in. It will also not show anything in the database when I scan and I know those items are in there. Please help. I have a sense 2 and an apple

Same issue for me! You log food then it disappears after 2 seconds. Tried everything, install uninstall fitbit app, restarting fitbit device, restarting phone (iphone), etc etc

Same since morning with Android (latest Fitbit app version).

After + can select food from database and history but it doesn't log at all.

This calorie intake vs burned has been my only reason to stick to Fitbit / google.

How will we know when the issue is resolved?

Same here. I even went back and deleted 3 months worth of history.  Still will not work.  So frustrating.

I'm having the same issue starting this morning. It will let me add things to my calorie tracker but than they disappear. I have the most up to date app, cleared cache, restarted my phone, forced stop on the app, logged in and out again. Still not working. I'm using Samsung galaxy S25. Very frustrating 😔

I am using an Android phone and it is happening on all meals from yesterday dinner time whether I use the foods I have customised, scanned or added directly from the Fitbit library.

I am going into the food section on the front page of the app.

Happens with the + sign on the dashboard for me.

 Happens for all food categories - lunch, dinner, breakfast etc.

 affects both custom & database food items. 
im on iPhone.

 In short, these are all things that have always worked before

Android app on a Pixel 7 Pro

Using plus or barcode scan within the app

Was able to add a food item to today's log just past midnight last night 

Haven't been able to add anything to any meal period later in the day (starting around 8 AM PST, and most recently just now)

If I add something it shows up, at least for a bit.

If I try to add a second item it replaces the first.

On Android, uninstalled app, restarted phone, etc. Can log max 2 items, 3rd item wil either replace 1 or both previous items, or all items will disappear.

I've been advised by 'chat' they are aware of the issue and there's no
timeframe for a fix.

Same with me , it started when I attempted to log breakfast. 

I followed all google instructions,  cleared cache,  rebooted , force stopped. Then uninstalled and re- installed . I wasted 4 hours until I found this thread. 

Im using Android phone , Versa4 fitbit. 

Logging my food is an important feature for me to continue my weight loss. I'm a fitbit user of 10 years .

That's a lot of spinach! Sorry, I know this is frustrating. I really use
this feature and have for a long time without issue. Once it's fixed I hope
we can all get back to using this app for our health journey. In the
interim I'm going to make quick prn and paper notes of what I've eaten and
transfer the foods later. I
Have you used Health Connect? I just added Fitbit to it and I wonder if
that might have something to do with it.

Same issue for me. All addition pages, all types of foods, all meals, Android device. I can log water, though. Began this morning around 8 AM Pacific Time.

Same. Every meal, no matter if quick, Listen or personalized, no matter if plus or from the food size. Using android.

I have an android and I put in a food item and then when I go to put in another the one before disappears and then they all disappear

I am on a Google Pixel and when I key in a food it will show in the list, but will not show in the bars at the top. I have this issue sometimes anyway so I back out and come back in, but still does not show in the bars. Then if I put in another food it kicks out the first one and neither show up in the bar.
