I was trying to log my food today and it will not show any food when I put an item in. It will also not show anything in the database when I scan and I know those items are in there. Please help. I have a sense 2 and an apple

Given you've managed to break the food tracking section 3 times in the last few weeks have you considered doing testing before just pushing out changes?
First of all the food database was wiped meaning nothing except recently eaten or custom food could be added. Then custom food could not be added as you broke the serving size drop-down. Now we can't add any food as it gets removed a few seconds after adding.
Having basic unit or integration testing in place to cover these functions would prevent you releasing changes with all these issues
Fitbit has been absolutely fantastic for me on my weight loss and fitness journey but this is getting a bit too much. Time to move on I think.

Same. This started today (12/4/2025). The app will only save one food; if you add another food that is the only food saved. I restarted the app and restarted my phone. Nothing changed.

On Android also having same/similar issue. It just keeps replacing items and when I exit the app they disappear altogether. I've tried force stop, clearing the cache data, restarting my phone and even a clean uninstall of the app and nothing has helped. Very frustrating!

I don't understand how a company the size of Google can't just roll back the breaking change and instead spend a week or so forward fixing it?
Please just revert the changes that broke this so we can all carry on tracking our food. For those of us that use this functionality multiple times per day having it break so often is really disappointing.

I even uninstalled the app the reinstalled it. It still keeps deleting the earlier entries.

Same issue for me as of this morning. I will add a bunch of stuff then they magically disappear. I restarted my android phone and reinstalled the app numerous times, as well as a force stop and restart of the Fitbit itself. Sounds like a glitch. Hope Google fixes this sooner rather than later.

And don't even bother trying to contact support. They literally just ask you all the same dumb things. Have you tried restarting the app? Have you tried clearing cache? Well, I haven't heard of this issue, I'll send it up the line to more advanced support, blah blah blah
You'd think they would send a bulletin out to all the support agents so they would know what to say instead of playing dumb

Hi everybody! Thank you for your reports.
Our team has been made aware of the issue but need some info to investigate this. I moved some posts that were around the board so that you all get the info at the same time
Could you please answer the following questions:
Log food feature is not working as expected, does this happen with the (+) plus sign in the dashboard or when you are in the food site in the app?
Does this happen with every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, etc) or only for specific?
Does this affect custom food or also the ones listed in the data base?
Are you using an Android device or an iOS (iPhone /iPad?
The more info you all can share the better our team can look into this.

Same here. I enter more than 4 or 5 entries, and the app records it, but then immediately deletes one of the other entries at random.
