I was trying to log my food today and it will not show any food when I put an item in. It will also not show anything in the database when I scan and I know those items are in there. Please help. I have a sense 2 and an apple

Same Here, worked Yesterday morning (UTC timezone), logged food not there anymore in the evening. New logged food appears and ist deleted after one or two Seconds. Cleared Cache just in case, but to no avail.

This happens when I try to log in the app. I can log a food, save, and then watch it disappear from the dashboard.
It happens with every meal. It sounds like it started happening after a certain time in the day yesterday (12/6/25) since some people logs saved. I didn’t log all day until 8pm MT and none saved from any meal.
I have only tried this with foods preexisting in the app (not custom) and they all delete.
I use an IOS device.

My food log disappeared too. I can select but does not save either using the + and within food. It's all meals

I am using an Android. I have been having problems for 2-3 days. The food I log disappears immediately. I am using both the (+) and the bar code and neither are recording my entries. It is effecting every meal/snack I try to enter. I am only using the database- have not tried custom.

Oddly, the water intake section has no issues updating and staying put. Also, I’ve noticed a lot of Google pixel and android users in the comments. I have an iPhone and I’m experiencing the same issues as the rest of you.

Problem still affecting food entries; been out of action for 24 hours now.
Affects all food entry times (e.g. breakfast, dinner, etc.); affects all food types (e.g. recent, custom, database, etc.); affects all data entry methods.
Using Android app on a Samsung Galaxy S25 and also on a Samsung Galaxy S6 tablet.

Thought I was the problem. Just now did a search and found out it's the app. Mine took breakfast yesterday (Dec 4), but when I went to put in lunch it kept disappearing anything I added. Tried restarting and reinstalling everything and couldn't figure out what I broke. Not sure whether I should be glad it's not me at this point though because combing through all the code to find what they did wrong will probably take forever lol

Same here. As soon as I log a food item, it disappears within a few seconds. The same happens regardless of whether it is a custom item or from the results of a search. I’m on iOS with an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Tried rebooting the phone, logging out and back in, and even deleting the app and reinstalling installing. This is the main feature I use Fitbit for (tracking calories in and out), so if it is not resolved, I’m going to have to look for a new tool.

Android, doesn't matter how the food item is added, it is immediately removed... Tried all meals and all ways to add food items, tried rapid adding things and they hang for a second, but like 10 to 20 seconds later they disappear... Someone made a change yesterday morning... And it broke things... Maybe the time is wrong on a server somewhere...

For me, it let me log breakfast yesterday morning, but by dinner it appeared to accept the first entry, but when you added the second item it overwrote the first. Here nor there--it wouldn't even save single entry it would allow you to add. I eventually gave up trying and, believe me, I tried every possible combination to get dinner items added. The issue is not specific to which meal of the day it is, nor does it discriminate against how you search for or add the food. Frequent/Recent/Custom/Favorites/Scan... same issue.
I am an Android user (Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6) running software version 16 along with the most current version of the Fitbit app.

Mine quit recording my calorie intake yesterday also. It's showing I have zero calories in and only showing the calories that I have burned.

Hello Juan.
For me the issue happens with the "+" sign.
Breakfast was as far as I got before I moved onto my macros app.
Items listed in the database and adding quick calories both disappear.
Android.
It is now after 12am and Friday has also disappeared.

As of December 5th, it is still not working. I am using the Fitbit app on my Apple phone. I have never had this problem before and it started yesterday morning. Won’t let me log anything new, everything disappears after a few seconds, I’ve tried every troubleshooting option multiple times (deleting and redownloading the app, clearing the cache, logging in and out, turning my phone off and on—everything all of us have done).
As someone else said, please demonstrate the value you have in your customers and fix the issue. As someone else also said, using the chat doesn’t help or resolve the issue and everyone on the “repair team” has been made aware. It’s been a full 24 hours. Please fix.
