Fitbit app - Food Fitbit App Deleting Food Logs Immediately

I was trying to log my food today and it will not show any food when I put an item in. It will also not show anything in the database when I scan and I know those items are in there. Please help. I have a sense 2 and an apple

Still not working properly.  Now I can add food but not delete or change.  Continue to get "an unknown error occurred" message.

I am on an Android. I have restarted my phone and force-stopped and relaunched the app. I have also tried to enter food from the plus sign on the main app page as well as on the food page in the app and no matter where I try to enter it, it will record at the bottom, but will not show up in the bar graph that anything was entered and as soon as I navigate from the screen to enter another food item, the one just entered goes away completely. I have not tried to enter a custom food item, only items loaded in the app to search.

I am still experiencing this issue that started last night for me.  Every time I add a food item it will not show up.

Log food feature is not working as expected, does this happen with the (+) plus sign in the dashboard or when you are in the food site in the app?

Does this happen with every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, etc) or only for specific?

Does this affect custom food or also the ones listed in the data base?

I agree! I have had a Fitbit for over ten years and this never was an
issue. I am ready to find another device.

Also having this issue. Really annoying as have become quite reliant on tracking intake and output so this is super frustrating. Doesn’t appear any of the ‘fix’ suggestions work but also doesn’t seem to be any update on where you’re at trying to fix the issue, unless I’ve missed this?

Mine started yesterday.  I managed to enter up until lunch and now every item I add gets wiped off.

I use the plus sign, search feature, change weights and add.  Whether it's custom food or from the search menu, won't even let me save quick calories! Doesn't make any difference if it's after lunch or any specific meal. 

I have tried all options on resolving it but none successful.

I'm Android Google Pixel 8 pro with a versa 4. 

Steps are working fine and so is everything else, just adding food.

What is the status on this issue, I have cleared cache, reinstalled any method of food input results in nothing, they remove themselves. Please provide an update, we all rely on this for tracking our nutrition for better healtier lifestyle and athletic performance.

This continues from 12/4 through 12/5 at 8:30 am: Happens whether Ilog Frequent, Recent or Custom Food, whether I hit "Log This" only, or "Log & Add More", whether we add with the + sign or when in the food site in the app, and with every meal.  I am an Android User.  Sometimes, I am able to add up to 3 items, but when I add the 4th, the other items disappear.

I used the plus sign on the app to track calories.

It happens for all meals.

If happens for both custom and listed food items.

I am using an iPhone.

I have been having this issue for two days.

It's happening with every entry. You add food under breakfast, lunch etc. It either doesn't appear at all or appears briefly and disappears. I'm using an android device. It's both custom foods and database

Yes. This happens from the dashboard and the food entry log. Affects all food entries. I'm using Samsung Galaxy S24+. Stopped working on Thursday, December 4th.

Food logging stopped working after breakfast yesterday.  I use iOS phone app and Charge 5.  Entries will exist for a few seconds and then disappear.  I use the plus sign to add foods, not custom.

I noticed this happening when logging from my iPhone last night, evening snack. I added with the + it would appear as logged and then go away. The same is occurring again this morning for breakfast. It’s not holding/saving all foods logged.
