Pin on Sense charging cable is pushed in

Ever since my Sense did the update it no longer will charge.  I have cleaned the sensors, uninstalled and reinstalled my sense and everything else I could.  My Fitbit is only 7 months old and really does not hold a charge for more than 24-36hours.

It looks like one of my prongs on the charger is pushed in a little bit.  Not sure how that even happened

Hi @Delaney49 - unfortunately Fitbit replacing the watch when the charge cable is faulty definitely won't help - see  How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen

Where it is still under warranty they are replacing the cable.

The same thing happened to me today. I've only been using mine for 4 months and am very careful with the charger.

I contacted support and they asked me to purchase one and send them the invoice for reimbursement. I was surprised they just didn't send me one themselves.

It takes ages for them to send it, your watch charge won't last anywhere
near that long.

I just had my fourth one die completely today. 4 in about 18 months. The pin pushes in and it no longer works. Terrible design flaw.

Age old problem with this charger. The 4-pin charger needs to be re-designed. It is a much larger problem than admitted to by the company. The sense watch is good but accessory charging cable is a complete bust.

I agree that the watch is good, but the charging cable design is a disaster.  I've gone through over 10 cables (some OEM, most 3rd party) and had similar experiences with each.  When I travel I am forced to carry at least one spare to deal with the likelihood of failure while I am on the road.  I have been a long-term Fitbit user.  This is my 4th device and 2nd watch style device and most expensive device I've purchased for myself and my partner.  Based on this experience and the Fitbit's inability to solve what obviously is a faulty design and widespread problem, it will be my last.
