Anybody have a Hydrate Spark water bottle?

I just got one and it says it can sync with Fitbit. I checked the box that says to sync it, but it doesn't. Anybody know how to fix it?

Hey, hey, @Nicki22@Rose7girl! It is nice to see you. Have you paired your Hydrate Spark account with your Fitbit account?

 

You need to download the Hydrate Spark App in order to get the phone notifications syncing. Seems like they are very nice! as our good friend, @beedub shared with us before.

It could be a battery problem, I have had nothing but problems trying to get mine to work right and sync, and it takes a long time to get a reply from their customer service. Their customer service suggested I replace the batteries in my brand new spark hydrate bottle. Tried that no good.

Some mornings it shows in the app I had drank several ounces but I had never touched it. Other times does not show properly how much I drank. Yesterday it was working but today it just gives me a message it is not connected. When it is working the light inside is barely noticeable!

Based on my experience I would definitely not recommend getting one, its to unreliable and their customer service takes long to reply. .

I am having the same issue with mine- i have tried with both apps open and trying to do the 4oz in both apps... nothing... just a minute ago it showed some in the fitbit app but it was way off... Hydrate app was at 44oz and fitbit only showed 2oz then i closed the apps and tried again. fitbit app then showed 10oz... now its back to 0oz! kind of frustrating. 

 

right now the only thing i seem to be liking about this water bottle it is glows when i need to drink and the reminders!

I set mine up to sync and just noticed reading over the replies that it doesn't really work. I have 71 of ~74 oz drank already today 96% and when I look into the Fitbit app it has 16 fl oz of 48 fl oz left. Wow that's stinks that it doesn't work the way I thought it did. Has anyone got it to work correctly?

Thanks for sharing the reviews about the bottle with us. I'm sorry to hear it has not been what you expected. I really recommend you to get in contact with them and see what options they can offer you and pick the one that fits you best. 

 

It looks like we have some friends here, that are having a good experience with them, but I don't know which one it is.

 

Are you guys using the Thermos or the Hydrate Spark?

I have one and it's not designed well. The portion of the bottle that includes the battery has to be twisted in place and I can tell you my strong fiance couldn't even twist it. Then it doesn't stay paired with my phone. These are problems I was aware of before buying the bottle, but thought I would have better luck. I would love them to redesign it and I will purchase again because I love how it logs every sip. It really keeps me motivated with the alerts that I receive. Until they redesign the bottle I would suggest that you do not purchase it.

Maybe they can offer you some options for your situation. Sounds like it could be such a good product so let's hope they redesign the bottle soon.

I am close to returning mine and my wifes, we cannot get it to sync at all with Fitbit.  It worked for about a day when we first got it and then nothing.

 

I purchased mostly because it did take into account your location and steps from fitbit in determining you water needs and updated the fitbit app with your water intake.

@SunsetRunner, I'm sorry to hear that your bottle was not what you expected. 😞

 

@Lordbridle, have you already revoked access from the bottle's App and Fitbit and link them again? You can manually log your water intake on your dashboard as well.

Just purchased one. I hope it works.
They got the market cornered right now because the Thermos is the only one Fitbit recommends. The issue is that the Thermos bottle is for iPhone only.

Yes, the Thermos App is the officially compatible App for bottles like this, it's unfortunate to hear that it is not compatible with Android yet. However I think that it should be very soon, is it a common process to start with iOS and then take the rest of the market.

I wish I could get one but they only ship them to USA, Canada and Mexico.. I live in Sweden and would love to have one but it seems I would have to find someone in the US to buy me one an then send it to Sweden.. the teal coloured one looks so good and I want that one.. So jealous of everyone who has one!
