Unfortunately it’s a known issue and the response is “ we are trying to fix” in the meantime their product isn’t working and they don’t care. It took me 3 weeks to finally get hold of someone in customer service and it’s worthless!
I did not loose my data because it’s stored in their server. When you reinstall the app you need to log back in and when you reconnect your Fitbit to the app it will pick up your data. I may have lost half a days data but that was because my Fitbit was not connecting to the app on my phone.
make sure you delete the Fitbit device from your phones bluetooth memory as well. Reconnect it all like you did when you set it up the first time.
Best AnswerHave you completely deleted the Fitbit device from your phones Bluetooth memory and deleted the app From your phone and reinstalled both the app and device like you did when you first purchased it?
Best AnswerYes and then I couldn’t reinstall it. Plus i sm wondering whether the dats is lost in the cloud or is it lost just in the device.

Best AnswerYes I did all that and my Fitbit Charge 3 connected & synced. But a couple of hours later the problem returned. That’s when I contacted Fitbit help chat line a second time and they admitted it is a known fault and their software teams are working on it.
Yep, AAPL forced iOS 13.4.1 update and now my Charge 2 won't sync....utter BS! Fortunately I also have a OnePlus (Android) and it syncs fine. Another iOS update fail...get it together AAPL! 😞
Best AnswerI’ve been frustrated since updating iPhone and iPad to 13.4.1 I tried everything that has been mentioned. I was to sync my Charge 3 once using the Windows 10 App, but didn’t get any sleep data. I finally charged an old iPhone and was able to get the Charge 3 to sync with the old phone. So will use the old phone to sync until Fitbit updates their App to work with 13.4.1
Agreed. I will never buy a Fitbit device again. Their customer service is terrible. For a product that is only 10 months old to fail and its within warranty they should replace it. I don't care if it's a known issue. It's been a known issue for over a month. So their product is failing, and they should do the right thing.
Yes, the longer they take to fix this problem, the more customers they are going to lose to Apple Watch or a similar device. (Maybe that was Apple’s plan??)
I would change but I got my Charge 3 less than 6 months ago because I wanted something waterproof. This whole thing is very frustrating. Plus, when I followed the suggestion to delete and then reinstall the Fitbit I was unable to reinstall it.
