It won’t connect to our iPads. My husband can’t connect at all to his iPad Pro, I can update mr iPad after I update my cellphone that is not an iPhone. Connects to my Wawai.

Thank you for your reply.

I am pleased (as will be the many other people who have posted on this subject) that Fitbit are now on the case.

We will all look forward to having this problem resolved and receiving an update from Fitbit and of course being able to sync my Charge 3 with my Apple devices.

Let’s hope it doesn’t take too long.

Dear Moderator

As you can see from many correspondences, we have tried all of those suggestions you have identified such as uninstalling reinstalling disconnection reconnection etc etc.... NOTHING works... please understand this ... Fitbit will not connect with the updated software regardless ..

Do you mean turn bluetooth off, then on? If so, doesn’t work for me.
Charge 3 will not connect to iphone with ios release 13.4.1.

Rebooting Charge 3 doesn’t do anything. Rebooting iphone doesn’t work.

Fortunately my old ipad syncs up with Charge 3.

I was wrong. My iPhone will not sync with my Fitbit app. I must rely on my antique iPad to update. Please fix this problem NOW!

The only way I could get my Fitbit Charge 3 to sync was to use an old iPhone with an older operating system. Fitbit needs to update their app so it works with iOS 13.4.1 , or perhaps Apple is making sure that one can only use Apple watches with the latest I OS.

Go to the Bluetooth setting in your phone and remove the Fitbit device see picture below. You then need to reinstall the Fitbit device on your phone like a brand new device

I would love to know whether Apple is giving Fitbit any technical support re how to fix this problem, since their update was the trigger. I also am glad that FINALLY someone from Fitbit actually wrote to us to show they are reading our posts and are aware of our frustration over this issue.
And yes, I not only disconnected the blue tooth connection but removed the Fitbit with the intention of reinstalling it. However, I was unable to put it back on my device.
Fitbit staff, Can you answer the question re whether our stats from the last several weeks will be made available to us once there is a Fitbit update?

Apple has a lot to answer for creating major headaches with their updates maybe I should switch to Android I bet this didn’t happen with the Apple Watch!

I’m having the same issue with my Versa 2 and Aria 2 scale. This is very frustrating as I just upgraded to both of these devices. I pondered the Apple Watch after using the Fitbit Alta for many years. I am an iPhone user and I loved my Alta but it was time to move on. I mulled over the choice between a new Fitbit and the Apple Watch. I was afraid something like software issues would get in the way of my use of a new Fitbit.

Despite these fears I got the two Fitbit devices mentioned above. And last Friday my  nightmare came true. “Device not found” showed up on the Fitbit app on my phone after updating to IOS 13.4.1. I’ve rebooted and deleted so many times I’ve lost count.

Fitbit please fix this issue. I love these devices and they are supposed to be compatible with whatever phone I use. I need an update ASAP. Please stop giving me these level one tech support steps to follow because THEY DO NOT WORK.

Sincerely,

“I truly would like to remain Team Fitbit customer”,

Maybe this is Apples idea to get us all to buy apple products ! ... introduce software that’s non compatible with non apple items

Agree re the steps Fitbit advises us to use...they don't work ...I’m not so sure Fitbit will revert with app that will connect... I am just about fed up with it to be honest

😂 You may be right about Apple!

And go figure, my Versa is syncing now. I will see how long it lasts because it pop in and out yesterday. I’m def fed up.

Come on Fitbit Team. I know you can do it! Or at least I’m hoping you can. 🤞🏾

Glad Fitbit are on it but angry at Apple for their total arrogance. I’m an Apple girl with everything Apple but this puts me off....I have a second phone I didn’t update with new Apple update so can use my Fitbit charge 3 with that. Fitbit is streets ahead if Apple Watch do hope they sort it out.

You are definitely right about this. I have a few other Apple devices that I haven’t updated and the sync works on those but my main device is my new and UPDATED phone. Lol...

You’re also right about the Fitbit devices being ahead of Apple. That’s why I chose them. On top of the fact that I use the Echo devices at home as well so the Alexa feature was a selling bonus for me.

Anyway, I’m trying to be patient as there are much worse things going on in the world now.

Too true! Patience and priorities! Yes I’m a bit pee’d off, but really there are worse things going on right now other than whether two devices can sync!

Yes I do agree with you re all you say incl more important things going on in the world right now ...I guess walking and jogging are amongst the few things we can enjoy somewhat and tracking this is a huge motivator factor for me...alas that’s even gone now😥.... however it certainly could be worse as you say.

After the best part of a couple of hours of deleting and rebooting and reinstalling  this sequence  finally worked - thank you
