It has been THREE days!!! What are they doing?! This is the WORST customer service. I almost got the garmin, but have been a fitbit user for years, and decided to go with what I knew.. WHAT A MISTAKE!!!!

I agree with you, it should have been sorted within a few hours, they do not care about customers

Glad to see I’m not the only one, but seriously, if they can’t fix this soon, I’ll be dumping Fitbit. Having to log into a computer to log food defeats the purpose.

I also confirm that food updates have not been occurring sense my last fitbit update a couple of dates ago. I scan the product bar code and then save as before. The calories appear to save but then are gone. What is odd, it is saving breakfast each day but not anything beyond. It is if it is stuck on one original entry from the day.

I’m no expert but I’m sure finding and repairing faulty coding is no easy task. I’m sure they have everyone available on it. Was nothing personal to spite you, sometimes you get thrown curve balls and that’s when you should run with it. Yes it being down isn’t ideal but I’ve used it for 2 months and can still throw together a meal and know roughly what my macros are. At the end of the day a fit bit gives you an estimate it’s not the end all be all, it won’t do for you what you won’t do for yourself.

Yesterday I could log SOME foods, but not others... Today, I can't log ANYTHING from the app. It is inconvenient to go onto my computer EVERY time to log something, and the way that the dashboard is set up, it is so TINY you can't log from the dashboard on your phone either.
It seems that we all have the same problem but in varying ways. I haven't had a food log as something else, I just can't log anything from the app.

@plnkfloydianI get what you are saying, but I do need to log my foods. I do NOT eat the same thing every day, and I was just diagnosed with Hashimoto's. I need to log everything for my Endocrinologist so that she can see what I am doing to take this weight off. I need to show her that I have a deficit every day, but am not losing any weight. This issue that we are having with not being able to log foods is hampering my ability to do that! There is a REASON I got the fitbit (and spent a pretty penny on it)! It has been 3 days and no real updates on what is going on or why this issue is taking so long to fix.

For the food logging issue, I usually use an iPhone or Ipad, but have a Samsung cell phone for work. I added the Fitbit app from the Play Store and no problems from food log on this type of device.

This is off topic, but you may need the info later: wristbands.
You may likely find that your wristband is no longer replaceable through Fitbit. I have a two-year old Blaze which I purchased to replace a two-year old Surge. This was a $299.99 expense made necessary ONLY because the Surge wristband could not be replaced. After almost two years the Blaze wristband also failed. The Blaze is now no longer being sold. The standard black wristband is no longer available, only odd colors or styles I'm not interested in. Fitbit was "sorry for the inconvenience."
Long story short, rather than purchase another $299.99 watch, I went to Amazon which has a BUNCH of wristband options including black. My advice? Purchase a second wristband when you buy your next Fitbit because they don't last, and be sure to check Amazon if you are out of options though Fitbit.
