Fitbit Update 5/5

I have great news!  We have pushed out a fix in the latest version (2.22.1) that resolves this problem. Click here to be redirected to the iOS App Store. Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention.

Fitbit Update 5/1
It was recently pointed out that some iOS users are missing their sync progress bar and battery indicator on their dashboard after updating to Fitbit iOS App version 2.22. In order to investigate this issue, can you please provide the following information:

  1. What type of iOS device are you using?
  2. What iOS version is it running (ie iOS 9.3, iOS 8, etc)?
  3. Does the problem persist after logging out of the App and then back in?

Thanks in advance for your help!

After updating to iOS app 2.22, the top section of main screen that indicates Charge HR, battery level and Sync progress disappears frequently when opening the app. This means I can't see the battery level icon or the Sync progress bar. The only way I can get that top section to appear again is to log out of the Fitbit app and close it. This is happening several times a day. Anyone else having this problem? Any solutions?

I'm having the same problem, I've tried deleting and re-installing the app but the problem persists.

I'm having the same issue. Must be a bug from the last update.

I was thinking it was a deliberate choice someone made.

I don't like it.  I don't like having to go to the account screen to see the battery level and if it's connected.

It's aslo not showing my current heart rate just my resting heart rate, I'm not likeing that either.

My Surge device still works.
On my iPad, whenever I open up to Fitbit, it shows steps, hr, # of hours, miles, calories, floors, sleep and water (the first picture on the top). It suppose to be the name of device, steps, hr, # of hours, miles, calories, floors, sleep and water (the second picture on the bottom). I wonder the app on my iPad does it.

Try turning your phone off. Then restart it. My flex reappeared in the dashboard after I did this😊

And it's not working again. Seems to be recurring, and now force-quitting won't work.

This happened to me yesterday.  I deleted the app and reinstalled which worked, but I had to reorganize the order of everything.  This morning, it was missing again.  I tried the suggestion of restarting my phone, which also worked, but this is not a long term solution.  Hopefully, the app will be updated soon because this is definitely a reoccurring problem.
