Fitbit Update 5/5

I have great news!  We have pushed out a fix in the latest version (2.22.1) that resolves this problem. Click here to be redirected to the iOS App Store. Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention.

Fitbit Update 5/1
It was recently pointed out that some iOS users are missing their sync progress bar and battery indicator on their dashboard after updating to Fitbit iOS App version 2.22. In order to investigate this issue, can you please provide the following information:

  1. What type of iOS device are you using?
  2. What iOS version is it running (ie iOS 9.3, iOS 8, etc)?
  3. Does the problem persist after logging out of the App and then back in?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Just completed a reboot of my iPhone 6 as suggested and happy to say the sync bar and battery icon have returned.
Thanks for the suggestion.
In fact I have found that when there are some issues with apps the reboot seems to work each time.
Cheers

App will not show pic of Charge HR normally at the top. In addition it will not show the continuous BPM only the resting heart rate. When I power down my iPad and restart it will return for a limited time. This started after the most recent update.

This is irritating esp since it also seems to take much longer to synch so I never know if it's going to synch.

I am using an iPhone 6s running 9.3.1  I intermittantly lose the progress bar at the top with my device/sync progress/battery status.  If I close the app and reopen it it generally returns.

My dashboard returned to normal after resetting the phone and iPad . Press the home button and the power button for a few seconds and it restarts . It has worked because it is still there today . Hooray .
I tried logging into and out of the app and also turning both devices off . That worked but only for an hour .
So it must be the home button and power button we need to do .
Good luck

Hi

I'm using iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.1 and when I log out of Fitbit app and then back in it is ok for a while and then eventually the top line disappears and it doesn't show current heart rate.

Thanks
Yvonne

Hi @Lrmatt

Moved this thread from the Charge HR to the iOS App section since more relevant to the topic & increases the chance of getting a solution.

Same for me. I can reboot my iPad and it will reappear for a short time then disappear again. Very aggravating as I have the Charge HR and can no longer see a continuous bpm.

1. I have an iPad
2. iOS 9.2.1
3. It continues after logging out and logging back into the app. Have tried this several times. It will work for several minutes to few hours. The watch icon with sync will disappear and the continuous bpm will disappear leaving only the resting bpm. I have not tried to reposition that to see if the continuous bmp will reappear.
