Fitbit Update 5/1
It was recently pointed out that some iOS users are missing their sync progress bar and battery indicator on their dashboard after updating to Fitbit iOS App version 2.22. In order to investigate this issue, can you please provide the following information:

  1. What type of iOS device are you using?
  2. What iOS version is it running (ie iOS 9.3, iOS 8, etc)?
  3. Does the problem persist after logging out of the App and then back in?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Since the latest update to my iPad Fitbit app (version 2.22, Apr 28, 2016), the app no longer shows my Fitbit One on the top line of the app dashboard, now at the top of dashboard is the number of steps.  It appears this device status function has been moved to Account page, if anyone is wondering where it went,

The new update has removed the device/tracker from the top of the dashboard. I used this a lot to see at a glance the battery status, last synced, and sync progress. Now you can only see that info on the Account page. It sounds like a small thing but it's actually very inconvenient and makes using and syncing more frustrating. I tried to see if maybe the tile was hidden but it's not available to be checked/unchecked. It's just gone.

Tested with my Chrage HR on an iPhone 5S and my wife's Blaze on an iPhone 6. Same on both.

The same thing is happening with mine and it's really aggravating. I used this all the time to check battery status and syncing while running. I would really like this feature back!

I too noticed this. I use it to set the silent alarm each night. Now I'm required to click on 'Account'. Very inconvenient indeed.

I have a Fitbit charge HR and overnight the iOS app has removed the tracker name and also the live updates on the dash board are no longer syncing? Any ideas?

I can initiate a sync and the All-time sync is switched on.
All was working fine yesterday

Exactly the same, then it popped up, now it's gone again and I can't see real time stats!!

The same thing happened to me this morning. I quit the app and restarted it and it reappeared.

On iOS double click home and close the app. Open it again and it's back. Happened to everyone this morning

Why the change to the Dashboard ? It is not an improvement; it is a backward step. Bring back the Synching & Heart Rate Display please

Not happy with the latest app update not being able to see battery life and syncing from dashboard screen 😕

Yup now it's fixed, and without an app update. Very very weird.

Something updated the other day, the most recent update on the home screen the Fitbit I use is no longer there, along with the battery of my Fitbit and no longer shows when it's syncing. Is this part of the new update?

Hi @KimNc

Since being a app related question, moved this thread from the Charge HR to the iOS App section to increase the chance of getting a solution.

This update to the app is awful.  Can't see the battery level - and when or if it's syncing.  Return it to the way it was!

I totally agree!!!

Somehow I lost my "heading" that had the charge HR and sync part on my dashboard. Anyone know how to get it back? I checked customize but didn't see it listed. I'm bummed. I have to go to account now to manually sync.

I installed 2.22 of the iOS app on my iPhone yesterday.  When I access the Fitbit app I no longer see the section that showed "Looking," "Syncing" and "Connected" with the progress bar during syncing.  I also lost the battery display.  Was this intentional?  Is there a way to get this back?  I looked at customizing the display but couldn't see how to get these things back.

Thanks,

Brian

I agree that this latest update is ten steps backwards. Put the sync and battery level on the dashboard!
