Fitbit Update 5/5

I have great news!  We have pushed out a fix in the latest version (2.22.1) that resolves this problem. Click here to be redirected to the iOS App Store. Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention.

Fitbit Update 5/1
It was recently pointed out that some iOS users are missing their sync progress bar and battery indicator on their dashboard after updating to Fitbit iOS App version 2.22. In order to investigate this issue, can you please provide the following information:

  1. What type of iOS device are you using?
  2. What iOS version is it running (ie iOS 9.3, iOS 8, etc)?
  3. Does the problem persist after logging out of the App and then back in?

Thanks in advance for your help!

When I open the Fitbit (Flex) dashboard page on my phone, the same as on my account online (PC), I see that I am missing the option to see the battery level at the top of my dashboard items page.  It dissapeared and now, the first line shows Steps but I am not able to see it being updated while I walk or excercise, even thou it automatically update the steps later in the day, even when I have All-Day Sync. To get the steps updated right away, I have to actaully go to the All-Day Sync and click Sync Now.

Can someone let me know how I can add the line that shows my battery level and why the steps are not being updated right away while i'm in motion?  Thanks in advance.

@jatony @Lrmatt I've merged your post into this thread where users are experiencing the same thing. This is an issue that our team is currently working to resolve.

I've also seen a few posts on this thread where logging out of the App and then logging back in has helped with this problem and also restarting your iOS device.

@cils @SunsetRunner Our engineers are currently working to push out a fix for this issue as soon as possible. I'll update this thread once is is available.

After restarting my iOS, I've only seen the glitch once. Came back after I went back into the app. It helped. Logging in and out, causes other things to be lost, food, water, exercise. It's on my dashboard. It comes back hours later sometimes.

Similar problem using iphone6. Reset the sync/battery icon by rebooting phone and things were restored but this morning the info was missing again. Will reboot again now and expect it will restore the missing info/icon.
Understand that Fitbit are working on the issue so expect this will be addressed sometime soon.
Meanwhile suggest you attend to recharging on a more frequent basis so that the battery doesn't run out and you not capture your steps progress as I did before I realized the battery indicator was missing which of course, didn't send me the reminder that my Flex was needing recharging.
Cheers

Oh that's strange .. Mine has worked since I did this . Mine has been ok for 2 days .
Did you hold the home button and power button .
It only worked when I did that .
I turned devices off & it came back for 1 HR so that's why I held the home button and power to reboot it .
Fit bit said they are working on the issue ?

Yes restart your phone .
Just turning it off will only fix it for an HR .
Hold the home button and the power button till you see the apple sign . It will reboot .
It worked for me .
I know fit bit customer services are on with fixing the problem .
Good luck

Simply turning it off only works for an hour as you say.
Hold the home button and the power button at the same time for 5 -10 secs until the apple appears .
Your devices will then reboot & fingers crossed it will rectify the problem for you.
Mine has worked for 2 days since doing this 😃
Fit bit are working on the issue .
Good luck

When i log out of the app and then log back in again, the syncing and the dashboard return.

However this seems to be temporary and dissapears again. I hve been experiencing the same isssue now for a few days!

I have a Fitbit charge HR and overnight the iOS app has removed the tracker name and also the live updates on the dash board are no longer syncing? Any ideas?

I can initiate a sync and the All-time sync is switched on.
All was working fine yesterday

Thank you Fitbit. Such a releif to no longer force close the app and accidentally force close other apps because it had become to habitual.

This did not fix the issue for me. I uninstalled the app several times today. Still won't show my steps. My friend is having the same issue. Help.
