Best AnswerYou missed absolutly nothing. Fitbit is currently not having an app that work with IOS 13. Blame it on Fitbit, or Apple.
Eithe way, Fitbit is not interrested in trying to solve the problem, as many feedback from customer contacts has revield.
So, Fitbit, has just given us, the all mighty middle finger, and says; "thank you for your money!".
Consumer power, is none.
Best AnswerMaybe it helps...
Best AnswerThere is no such thing as "IOS settings" you very nice person!:)
Best AnswerNo, it did not help you. As it did not with every other Fitbit user.
Best Answer@Badlands19 I do hope you find the answers to your notifications issue and your back up and running soon. 😉
Best AnswerDear MegaBite.
It was clearly an overstated comment from my side. And I really appologize for the not so gental, and perhaps(of course you idiot(me) bad), not so subtle remark from my side.
Peoples Fitbit, is, like you say, the device. The device we all discuss here. So, you are right that "some" refere to it as a "device". Because it is a device, and the only device we all talk about since the IOS update that ruined our lives. (Device wise, that is:))
Name calling, is, like you say, a really poor communication form.(And to be honest, just straight out sheit! English term that is.) And to that, there is not anything more to discuss. That was not on any terms a nice thing from me to do.
And, I really appologize for that!
I really enjoy all help that can be retrieved from forums, and the rest of the internet. And I get by with most of it.
If there would be an issue with your reply, or post, so to speak, is that is not accurate. Not that I am any more accurate. But if you could put it into another persons view, not like me, or you, they might still be searching for "IOS settings", to try to do some self help, regarding the extrem situation that Fitbit users are noe in! (Trying some humor here, give me some slack, please!)
So, again, I sincerly applogize for my comment, and name calling, and hope that you in your inner Fitbit heart(no pun here!), will forgive a blond, slightly annoyed Norwegian(towards Fitbit that is), his lame Sunday remark!!
Best AnswerHi! I did all those steps and I am still not receiving text message notifications.
Best AnswerHello again @RoseWalker13
I’m really sorry this didn’t work for you. I do know that Fitbit is aware of the notification issue and the workaround around I provided you does work for some individuals. I think it would be helpful if you paid attention to this thread: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Stopped-seeing-notifications-after-updating-to-iOS-13/td-p/3...
here people are exchanging ideas, tips and discussions are happening here due to the notifications issue. I’m sorry I couldn’t be more help
I am starting to lose hope that it will be fixed. The post was created 9/23 and the last edit was on 9/25. It is now 10/6. I hope something can fix this soon because I have started contemplating getting an Apple Watch to avoid all of this.
Best AnswerYes I’m thinking to do the same. The only advantage I see with the Fitbit is the battery lasting longer so will probably buy the new I watch and see how it goes
I understand and that is why I initially bought the Fitbit, but showing my texts was another reason. I have kids and I can’t have my phone volume on at work or constantly check it, so this feature has helped give me peace of mind. This is really making me reconsider.
I’d like to know how many are using the charge 3 and iPhone 11 with ios 13.1.2 , and if you are able to get text? I only lost text notifications when I upgraded phones. I have calls and reminders still. I called Fitbit and they said it’s known issue they are working to resolve with no ETA. But they indicated it was a priority.
I have an iPhone 8 and a Blaze. I have had both for almost 2 years. It only happened as soon as my iPhone updated its iOS.
