Exchanges dont work. They gave me
an option to get a free what I have or 100$ on an upgrade. Got the same
one because im not sinking more money into a product that doesnt work properly. @KateFitbit Y’all need to stop false advertising a feature or fix your glitch. My fitbit hasn’t been working properly since October 2019 and I bought it in April 2019. Should of just bought an Apple Watch. Got a new one and it still doesn’t work and it’s now not auto tracking my exercises. Just did 5 miles on the treadmill and it didn’t track it. Did a 10 mile hike on Saturday and it didn’t autotrack the last hour of my hike.
Moderator edit: word choice and format
I have all the steps several times. I still can’t get the “i” to show up next to Blaze when looking at my Bluetooth. There is also no message that pops up on my phone asking about notifications after restarting my Blaze. I tried that several times. This is beyond frustrating and after using and recommending Fitbit for years, I’m about done.

Any update to this issue?
I got a new Versa 2 at Christmas. It was receiving texts just fine until a couple of days ago.
I've gone through all the steps carefully 3 different times. Everything is updated.
I bought this directly from Fitbit - I'm thinking about returning it. It was the feature that swayed me to buy this fitness tracker. So frustrating.
Best AnswerDid a factory reset work??
Best AnswerNope factory reset didn’t work for me. I followed Murphy Allen’s steps from page 68 - all working again now, took a couple of times going over the steps
Sent from my iPhone
Best AnswerFollowing your instructions to a "T", has brought back some of my notifications, mainly text for now. Thank-you.
Best AnswerIf you have an iPhone, you need to delete the app from storage and not on your home screen. That was the key for me.
Best AnswerHello. I had the same issue but now can see my messages again. However, as soon as I fixed that problem now my tracker is no longer counting steps at all. I've read every article I can find and can not figure out how to get it to track steps again. Please help.
Best AnswerI received the Versa 2 for Christmas and it just stopped tracking my exercise Monday. I walked 45 minutes yesterday and today and it shows in my steps and my active minutes and miles but it is not showing up in my exercise activity. Why? My app is current, phone is current I’ve gone through ALL of the suggested steps yesterday and again today because I just finished walking and it’s not tracking. I never in the 2 years I had my Charge 2 had any issues with it. I’m kinda disappointed because I’m BIG on exercise and to have it just stop isn’t acceptable.
Best AnswerBlonde_Newfie, I did as you suggested and now it is working. Has yours been working steadily since you deleted it from iCloud? Should it be removed from auto backups? So many questions........
Best AnswerIts Settings -> General -> iPhone Storage -> Fitbit
I deleted it from the iPhone Storage
Best AnswerI'm getting text messages, but not Google Hangouts or Facebook notifications. I'm going to try again, and delete those apps as well.
Best AnswerStill not working. This has been going on for month and there doesn't seem to be an end insight. Can someone advise on a concrete date when this can be expected to update? I love my fitbit but am looking into other devices if this isn't resolved.
You are a genius. This is the ONLY thing that worked. You have made the difference between me being happy with this device and chucking the darned thing into the Cut.
I deleted mine from iCloud storage and it worked for one sync then as usual......No Device Found., So I'm really at a loss.
