And now that I put my original message on this post, I'm getting e-mail after e-mail of frustrated Fitbit owners, which I can't change at this point, but we sure as heck aren't going to stop getting Fitbit notifications, just text messages.
One setting that I did change that has helped (albeit, sporadically, because I'm still not getting all of my text notifications) is to go to Settings >Notifications>Fitbit and under 'options', make sure "Show Previews" is set to 'Always (Default)'.

Best AnswerAffects me too. Using Versa and iOS 13.3. Tried the resolution suggestions. Nothing works. Primary reason I wear it is for notifications, in particular, when my kids are at work and I don't have my phone near me, so that I can get to my phone to make sure they're ok. Please fix soon else I'll be switching to competing product.
Did the factory reset help?
Best AnswerI’m planning to buy a apple this Friday and probably give this to someone I love the fitbit challenge but no notification is bull
Is there seriously any progress to fixing this issue??? It’s been awhile now and I’ve had to resort to wearing both an Apple Watch and Fitbit. The Apple Watch really doesn’t compare to Fitbit, your watch blows Apple’s away, but you’re going to end up loosing a lot of customers over something as trivial as software compatibility. Please get this fixed soon!

I had to start wearing my Apple Watch as well and honestly Fitbit is so much better, but they are going to end up loosing customers over software compatibility. Seems like such a simple fix but it’s been months now. I heard Fitbit has been bought out by google so I’m starting to wonder if this problem was done on purpose....
