Hey all,
We're aware of the issue with excess calendar notifications being sent to Blaze. Our team is working on a fix, so please be patient! Thanks to everyone that reported this.
I'll update the thread when I have more information. 🙂

@SantiR wrote:@triplecork88 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Notifications will be deleted automatically after 24 hours or if your tracker is restarted. If you don't want it to remind you throughout the day; try to swipe the notification to the right, as that will delete it.
Try that out and let me know if that resolves the problem!
Hi - I just wanted it to be clear that swiping right does not keep the notification from repeating over and over. Thanks.

Does everyone have this problem? Or only a select few glitchy-Blaze owners? If not all, can we exchange it to try our luck with a new one? Otherwise, I will try to return for a refund. This issue has not been resolved in over 4 months and it is a key feature - also my main reason for choosing this Fitbit.

@Evenstar I am using IPhone 6+ and I do not experience this issue, so not sure why some are.

I just got the Alta a few days ago and these excessive notifications are driving me nuts. I must have received at least 20 notifications today regarding the same event over and over. Please tell me an actual fix is available.

I don't know it this will help solve the problem, but I only have this issue (multiple reminders) when I set up an appointment a certain way. I can set up appointments using my work calendar (Microsoft Outlook) and I use third party software to sync them with my Google calendar and my phone pulls them from my Google calendar. Those appointments I never have a problem with. The appointments I have a problem with are the ones that I initially set up on my phone. They also get synced with the 3rd party software to my work calendar. Those are the ones that have the multiple reminder issue. I don't know if it is because I am syncing them and that does something to them or what the issue is. Also, there doesn't seem to be the same issue on all of them. Some I may only get 3 or 4 reminders, others will go on all day and I may get a dozen or more.

Hi there @PaulaJo. Good to see you in the Community!
If you go in your app and tap at the top of the dashboard, you will be taken to the Blaze settings. Here scroll down to Notifications and here you can disable calendar notifications if you don't want them.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else!

Yes. We need a resolution to the reminders not honoring us dismissing them. Disabling it is not a fix.

The problem stopped for me when I switched from an iPhone 6 to a 6S. Not sure why, but it did. That is obviously not a solution, but I'm posting in hopes that it will help Fitbit folks find a resolution once and for all.
Does anyone have this problem with an iPhone 6S? Maybe my situation is just a fluke.

I think part g the issue I'm having on iOS is related to using the "travel time" option. It seems on those calendar events, I have a stupid endless loop of notifications--especially anytime I move. If I just have "time to leave notification" it seems to work fine.
thanks

What is the status on this fix? Just purchased and having what sounds like a related issue. Looks to just be collecting events versus communicating each individually as they come up, despite deleting each. Not able to expand either to get full details. Using a Samsung S7.
