Had my charge2 for a week and it won’t track the deep sleep rem and the stages it to track when I’m sleeping. What do I do to fix it.

Another useless reply. Tried all of FitBit's suggestions many, many times. Even shaved my arm to give your trackers a better view of my blood vessels.
FitBit devices are very accurate at step counting and time keeping, but all other "features" are unreliable and inaccurate.
I've now wasted money on three very expensive step counters. How can I get my money back?

What @SunsetRunner and @stevethompson49 said. The whole reason we’re here and complaining is that the stock “fixes” have. not. worked.
Do you honestly think we haven’t tried adjusting band position and tightness? Do you honestly think we haven’t tried charging the Fitbit before we go to bed? The canned responses are getting old, and we have no way of making ourselves heard. Can you see the frustration now?

Charge 2 users should be happy that they have a Charge 2 and not the more expesive Versa.
After tolerating the multiple problems with my Charge 2 for many months I finally bought a Versa, thinking that it would be better at heart rate and sleep tracking. But not so; it's much worse. And the extra price of the woven band is a complete waste of money.

I have had a Charge 2, but after an update in March no sleep stages anymore for me!

I have had my Charge 2 now for nearly six months and it has never ever showed my sleep stages. I have tried just about everything in this Forum and nothing has worked. Would you believe this morning when I checked my sleep, I had sleep stages!!!!! I did nothing different then I do every night. I just wore it to bed. battery shows medium charge, it was low on my wrist where you would normally wear a watch. Phone in my room was on the night stand in it's normal position that it is always in. First time in six months it has worked. I would be shocked if it works tonight. I with you all however, there is a problem because it should work more then once every six months.

Yeah I couldn’t believe my eyes, I actually had 4 nights in a row with sleep tracking, but this AM back to not. Inconsistent technology. I could understand it if we paid $29.99 but NOT what my Charge 2 costs!

After it working for the first time since I bought it half a year ago, it did not work last night. Back in the Club!

I've had my Versa for 63 days and the sleep stages showed 27 of those nights, about 43% of the time. I was on a two day streak the last couple nights and today back to the old sleep record. The only thing that changed was my wake up time.
I honestly think it's a problem with the sync / server process - possibly server traffic, possibly my own internet speed at times. I have a much higher chance, like almost 100%, of getting sleep stages if I wake up after 8am excluding weekend days. That says to me it's a problem with server traffic/synchronization. I don't know when the sleep stages calculation is made but it seems that the last background sync in the morning is always magically at the time I wake up. I check it before I open the Android app which I normally do while I have my morning coffee.
Anyone else see this kind of trend?
Otherwise, there is absolutely no pattern to it on my end. I even tracked my own heart rate variability to compare thinking perhaps I was stressed and that prevented to stages from being calculated but that wasn't true either.

My device is brand new - I just purchased it at a retail store and brought it home yesterday. I wore it to bed last night and when I checked my sleep stats in the morning I was greeted with this message: “Why did I get simplified sleep details? Your tracker couldn’t get a consistent heart rate reading while you slept.”
The sleep tracker was one of the primary features that led me to purchase this device. The fact that the device couldn’t get a consistent heart rate AT REST makes me wonder how it can consistently track it as it fluctuates on a much more frequent scale throughout the day.
I’m certain I did everything right - wore it above my wrist, the device had a full charge.....I even set it to sensitive.
This device is being returned to the store today. I might get an Apple watch.

Sorry to say, but your kind support team is not able to help.
Just to correct the algorithm and fix all problems can help. Means you developmend and programming team!
Restarts, factory reset, and so on can't help to correct the software failures!
I'm looking forward to see corrrect software, then should everything working!
Hopefully I can see that one day.

@Mark2018 @SunsetRunner I do know that the team in charge of the sleep stages feature is working on improving it for all users. I don't know when the next update will be released but I know they are constantly investigating this so all users have a better experience. Still thank you for your patience up to this post.
