Hi all,
Up until today, I've had no problems with my Charge 3, and now all of a sudden it won't receive text message notifications. Everything is still set up to receive notifications, as I can still receive Emails, WhatsApp and phone calls, I have impaired on Bluetooth and also tried rebooting like all the guides say, but no success.
Can someone please help?

I actually just read another thread and someone who works with fitbit replied saying that fitbit is aware of the issue and doing everything they can to fix it currently. So it's just the waiting game now. But yes, it is not just us dealing with it and nothing we did wrong either!

Samsung S10. It was working fine up until yesterday, and now it's stopped.
I even tried uninstalling the app, and reinstalling it again, but that didn't work either.

Apparently this is an Android wide issue according to Fitbit customer service, per another thread that I had looked at. I haven't talked to anyone myself but I may try. Same thing that is happening with the iPhones it seems. I also have Galaxy S10 phone and have the same issues, but as of this morning, NO notifications are working now, when it was only text messages I would not receive to my fitbit device for the past few days.

I'm glad it's not just me, although very annoying for us both!
I have emailed Fitbit customer services, so hopefully they will reply soon with some kind of update.

Thanks for staying up to date with this! I heard the same thing about the Android phones having issues, I previously had the S10 Plus phone, and it was working fine until, I believe, when my phone updated to the android 10 software. I got a new phone, the Note 10 plus, and was working, until, yet again, until I updated my new phone to the Android 10 software and it stopped working. Funny that it's only text messages not coming through to my charge 3. So, yes, it looks like a waiting game, till Fitbit pushes out an update to correct this issue! Thanks again!

The funny part is that I got notifications earlier today for 3 text messages after I answered this earlier and I thought it was fixed randomly and then it stopped working again, haha. Not sure why it worked all of a sudden then didn't, but hopefully it is fixed soon for sure!

Well that's weird! I haven't had any luck like that. Lucky you, then again, unlucky, cause it stopped working...again! LOL. Ohh, the agony, lol.

I have also tried everything on my iphone and nothing has helped at all , Fit bit has been trying to fix the issue for months now and no answers , very frustrating when this was one of the main reasons I bought the product.

Charge 3 to my s10 and the texts don't work, but link the charge 3 to my husband's s8 and no problem...... so odd

Seems like it's a Fitbit wide issue to me. Mega problems with iPhone users for the same issue. Everything worked fine for me after the 2 hrs of trying to get the charge 3 to connect. Then about 3 days later I stopped getting the any notification. I've done everything they suggest...nada. evidently they didn't test very well. I have an S9

My Note 10 plus just received an update to the January 1st security patch. But still nothing from Fitbit. Still not receiving text messages to my charge 3, but the other apps, I can receive messages from. Getting annoyed with this.

Yeah I'm still not getting notifications for texts either. Now messenger does not give me notifications either, just apps like email, facebook (not messenger) and instagram. I do get notification when I get a phone call sometimes but that is also hit or miss anymore. Sometimes my fitbit vibrates with a phone call minutes after I am already OFF the call.
Considering how long these people have been around, it seems absurd to me that they can't get simple things like this to work properly. Makes no sense.

Thanx soooooo much for this answer. JUST got my Fitbit Charge 3 last night and have been playing WAY too long with it to get notifications for texts and emails. Guess I'll be patient!?!

Me Too. I have a Samsung A20, I gave tried everything, spent an hour on the phone with Fitbit Support....Still my Charge 3 will not receive Text Messages
