Charge 3 display not working

 Fitbit Charge 3 display not working, why? It was at 95 % charge

I am having the same issue. Sometimes i can hardly see the display even indoors. I have my fitbit charge 3 set to normal but it is never that bright. I reset it and sometimes this works for a little while. But lately it doesn't fix anything. This is very frustrating.

Mine has now died completely, not even counting steps any more.

I highly recommend contacting customer service. You can do an easy online
chat. There are several troubleshooting activities they will take you
through to assess the issue. My charge 3 has been replaced 3 times for FREE.
I should include that my unit had NO display, not even a dim one.
Customer service is terrific, I'm happy with my device again, at least for
now...

Holding the button for 8 secs generated the smile and then the time shows up,  But it won't scroll beyond the time.

Hi Im having the same problem. Clockface isn't working properly, I have re booted the Fitbit with no effect. Also it is not recording properly my flights are almost double my friends on the same hike

Can you also refer me to customer support, I reported at weekend that my screen is no longer displaying anything after resetting my charge 3 on at least 4 occasions over the past 2 weeks. Thank you.

I was out of warranty and was offered 30% off new device.

Same thing for me I got their charge for now it's sinking and I only got yesterday but they're sending me a replacement after I send it back. They only offered me 30% off I think I should be at least 50% off. Or if you buy a warranty it should be 50% off that's 30% off

I have had the same problem & no luck with any of the above instructions.. this is my 3rd Fitbit charge 3 & I’m surprised it’s gone wrong again 😞

I am on my second replacement Fitbit Charge 3 - and it seems to get affected by an update which makes me not want to do an update again ....ever!

To be honest I’m not sadly. I’m on my 4th one which is faulty, they don’t send you a replacement out now straight away, you’ve got to send yours back first. I’m disabled and supposed to be shielding and they want me to make a relatively unnecessary trip out when it’s not my fault they have made a VERY POOR PRODUCT. I’m giving in I can’t be bothered anymore with Fitbit and it’s SHABBY product’s, time to look for another tracker. Never will I recommend Fitbit to anyone ...

Hi SteveH, I am dealing with the same issue and I wont' be able to press and hold the button on the tracker for 8 seconds as the watch is not charging and it is getting hot when I am trying to charge it I have log a case today so I am waiting for a response..

I've just had the same problem with it overheating when trying to charge it.  Before that the screen was dead for a week.  I've just been on to Support and they are sending me out a label to return it.

My display went from showing a bunch of lines to completely black.  It's at 99% for charge.  Pressing the side button hasn't helped at all.  It's still dead. 😕 Charge 3 😕

Hi all. 

I've had my screen issues since June and haven't been able to contact customer service then. Eventually I gave up. I'm a user from the Netherlands

The exclusive login only customer support page doesn't work. I get a 'wrong page' error

I've emailed to https://contact.fitbit.com and got an autoreply that email support no longer exists

My retailer MediaMarkt has indicates not to be able to help. They said so in the store and in online support chat. Out of desparation I also tried another reseller Decathlon even though I didn't buy there, but they said the same

My warranty still applies

How to get in touch? Does anyone have advise
