 Fitbit Charge 3 display not working, why? It was at 95 % charge

I have just had a live chat with FitBit customer services and I have a replacement on the way. Didn't take long at all. Great job!

Good news - I've got a replacement. It took me 3 weeks chatting with them (Twitter) for them to realise I wouldn't be able to do the long reset if I couldn't see anything on the display. I was also offered 50% off the new line but we all know that's not worth it.

Just an FYI....I contacted customer support yesterday and was able to get through easily.

Hi AlejandraFitbit, I am having the same issue with the screen and have tried the 8 second reset and changing the clock face.

I have also tried live chat with the support team (i have been disconnected twice now).

Is there anything that you can do to help at all please?

No, I was not and my warranty was up so there wasn't much they could do.
They did, however, give me a 25% discount on a new fitbit.

Fortunately, mine was still under warranty since I’ve only had it for 10 months, so I called Fitbit support. They are sending me a replacement.

The screen on my Fitbit charge 3 has gone completely blank. I’ve tried putting it in the charger and holding the side button but it still is blank. Before it did this the screen used to jump around (like shaking) quickly from side to side when I tried to look at it. Help please!

My screen never came back on and I was sent a replacement by fitbit. Great customer service, just a shame it is such a common fault for fitbit users.

I have same issue! I even removed tracker but now can't get back on cuz I can't see four digit code to get it back on, ugh! I can spend all day on the help forums and get nowhere. Help

Had to give up on my Charge 3 but fortunately just within the warranty period so it was replaced.  Unfortunately my Charge 2 is now defunct.  It still syncs but the display has frozen and there is nothing you can do to fix it.  I went through all their procedures with this one, out of warranty so I asked to go to a second level support and they don't have one.  Apparently one process fits all.  If you contact the support help line again, I'm sure they can generate a code for you,,,worth a try....Good luck....

I finally called Fitbit. Ultimately, they gave me a 25% discount towards a
new Charge3. So I’m going to assume these watches/trackers are pretty
disposable! Thanks for the interest in my dilemma.

I've tried all these suggestions -- still doesn't turn on.  And no one is answering at the support link twitter thing in your message.

But we shouldn't have to keep doing our own fixes, like deleting and reinstalling the app -- or changing the clock face every time we want the stupid thing to turn on!

I don't have twitter! I get frustrated with all the digital stuff, so I called Fitbit

This is exactly the problem I'm having.  The screen just stays black -- no battery indicator, no smiley face.  It vibrates but nothing else.  It syncs okay so I don't think it's totally dead yet.  The people on the help chat have no better ideas of what to do.  I"m going to look for an alternative to Fitbit.  Too many problems!!

I found it a long process to get through...I was 17th in the queue to online chat with someone but eventually I got there. This being my second to go to that great graveyard in the sky, I guessed what the response would be ...and I wasn't disappointed. The first was in warranty so they replace it and the second wasn't so I was offered the 25% but that's before tax and transport costs. Good luck with your quest....
