Charge 3 is constantly vibrating and screen going on and off

All of a sudden the Fitbit keeps vibrating then the screen keeps switching between click face and the notification screen. Had to take it off. The charge is at 42% so it’s not battery life.

It is very aggravating. There was an update a few months ago, but it did not fix the problem. I ended up getting a new Fitbit with the discount they sent me. Fingers crossed this one continues to work properly.

My Fitbit Charge 3 is vibrating constatly when I wear it. How to rectify this defect

I have reset my fitbit 3 times in last 2 days and it keep having issues as described above.  After the constant buzzing on my wrist it depleted my 85% charged device in 5 mins.  This is almost 1 year to date when I had to purchase a new fit bit for display issues.  I sure hope this is not an ongoing issue every year.  I just tried to do the 15 reset function, the clock face went on but then back off.  My fitbit would not let me change the face on my phone it said a device was not connected.  I tried to sync but that failed.  so my phone is no longer recognizing my device.

It just worked this am and registered my activity.

I got the same displays as above DND/sleep when doing the 15 sec reset due to trying every other possible thing.  Everyone seems to be having the same issue right now.  What updates occurred recently

Mine had gotten wet- evidently that was the culprit. Had taken off as was acting so strange. 3 weeks later charged it up & it started working again. Someone else replied that they had put theirs in rice for weeks, I think, to dry out. His started working again after that. Mine worked for a week or so then wouldn’t hold a charge. Did online chat & mine still under warranty & got replacement. Just started it up yesterday so will see if this one lasts longer than 6 months!

Mine just started doing the same. It keeps vibrating and the screen keep displaying DND/sleep. I tried restarting few times in separately occasion and yet nothing change. Finally I plug it into the charger and keep holding the side button and it keep restarting itself numerous time. For some odd reason, it finally stop vibrating and its back to normal now. Finger cross. Hope this helps.

I contacted support. They walked me through some trouble shooting steps. When my Fitbit still acted up, they sent me a code for 30% off a new one since mine was no longer under warranty.

I am having the exact same issues. I have live-chatted twice and none of the suggested troubleshooting has worked. Now they want a video of my fitbit not working and I can't get the video to send. Mine is less than a year old. This needs to be addressed.

Finally got connected to online chat. Mine was still under warranty & got a replacement. Unnecessary hassle, only 6 months old. Pay good $& expect things to last

I had the same issue. Tried everything. Called twice. And was finally given a 35% off discount for a new fitbit. This is my second fitbit in two years already. It's ridiculous.

I am also having the same problem. I followed the instructions here to plug it in, hold for 15 seconds...etc. and I had hope when it started charging, but then it went to about 30% charged and started doing it again. I just got it in January. How can I get a replacement?

Exactly what’s happening to me as well. This started today out of the blue and is incredibly frustrating. I use my Fitbit silent alarm to wake me up every day but now it keeps vibrating endlessly until the battery goes dead and nothing works at all. I get it completely recharged and then something seems to set it off on this path and I really don’t want to have to buy another one.

My Fitbit started to vibrate as well and the restart didn’t help. Warranty is up... what should I do? Thanks

I've had a few issues with the screen going blank for a few days and then sorting itself out. Recently it has started vibrating uncontrollably, randomly throughout the day which is draining the battery.

I've had my charge 3 for 2 years now, I'm really hoping this isn't the end of my fitbit cuz they ought last longer.

I would try to reset the device by putting it in the charger, holding the side button, and wait for it to reset. Keep in mind that you should not lose any data by doing this, but I recommend to sync your device beforehand. You can also contact Fitbit support or reboot the device by going to setting, clicking on about, and clicking on reboot (NOT clear user data).

I have reset it twice. Still having the vibration issue. Its even vibrated at night, I can't wear it while sleeping anymore. And can't use the timers while working out because the vibration reset the timers. Going to have to look at other companies if fitbit products don't even last 3 years (the minimum for most tech)
