Not getting notifications on Charge 2

I was getting notifications on my Fitbit from text messages and when someone was calling me, but for some reason they have stopped, can anyone advise pls

i just bought versa 2 4 days ago..but the notifications only work for 2 days..after that, they dont work until today. so frustrating. i thought fitibit is the best smart watch and tracker. i wish i could sell it back!

Make sure all day sync is switched on in your phone. Check that first

All sync is already on. So far i think because of i used downloaded face
clock. Just now i tried to use default back. Seem ok until now. I hope it
resolves for long term. Thank u for ur reply

Ok try to remove device from blue tooth. Uninstall it on the app. Restart
the fitbit then do it all again. As if it were a new device.

Mine is the same, stopped working when i changed my phone from a 6 to a 7. I get phone notifications but not texts. I've tried everything everyone on here has said to try and it still doesn't work

Mine is an 8 plus. Had major issues last night even syncing to the app and have now lost all notifications even after going through the troubleshooting

I ha e the IPhone X the had a few problems but it seems to be all good now

It’s easy to cancel notifications with a stray swipe. Don’t give up! I was
like you. Turns out I was synced to my phone and my iPad - it was getting
hung up. I deleted the iPad. All better!

Have u tried factory reset? But u have to lost everthing like getting a new
one. Mine is ok now, receives texts and calls notification as i changed the
face clock to default. I m thinking of adding some other notifications and
apps to the device, but quite refuse, wonder if the noti would stop again

Try troubleshooting for some more times. Who knows next u will be lucky. I
once was thinking to factory rest if noti did not work. But it is ok now
after i changed face clock to default.

I’ve tried absolutely everything, multiple times and still not working. Every time I contact support they take me through the same steps then tell me they’re “working on it”. I wish I could just return this faulty device!!

If it is under warranty why not? Just return it.. U will get a new one.

Since so many people are having the same problem, is anyone else suspicious that Fitbit is just causing this on purpose so we all purchase the newest models? Mine worked just fine and then a few months ago stopped showing text messages. Nothing I have tried has solved the issue.

Mine also on off. Sometimes getting noti on device, sometimes are not. So i
just go with the flow, as i just bought this versa 2 less than a month. 😂

Mine is fixed.

You have to go into (select) the 'Messages' section of the notifications and make sure Show Previews is set to Always. For some reason mine was set to 'Never'

•  "Settings" > "Notifications" > the name of the app and verify these settings:  
  • "Allow Notifications"—On
    "Alerts" > "Notification Center"—On
    "Show Previews"—"Always or When Unlocked"

Mine was doing the same thing. I deleted the app and reinstalled it and it started working
