Add mine x 2 to the pile of cracks. First one cracked at 12 months, Fitbit replaced it. This one cracked in the exact same spot 12 months after the first one. Obviously there is a design flaw in the screen. The lovely 25% off coupon is not going to get me to buy another one that will just crack in 12 months.
I've had Fitbit devices since the Ultra, most of them have had some form of problem that forced me to replace them. I like the company so I sucked it up, but having to keep replacing their products every 12 months is getting old. I guess it's time to look for another company. 😞

Hello everyone. Sorry to hear about your experiences with your damaged Charge 2 devices. If Support they will provide options following the warranty but as many have stated if the device is outside the warranty period Support will have a limited set of options for you. Let them know about your issue if you haven't done so already.

Mine too. It’s a year and a half old, and suddenly there’s a crack down the centre for no apparent reason. Also my band is coming apart.

I have this same problem too. My screen has 3 giant scratches and a ton of tiny scratches. I don't bang it into walls or anything like that. I use it normally and I get all these scratches. I haven't contacted Fitbit yet because people say they won't give them a replacement. Poor screen design.

I have noticed lots of standardized, canned responses from forum moderators. Are Fitbit moderators actual people, or just some type of bot or artificial intelligence customer service program?

Tagging this whole thread. My Fitbit crease-cracked in the same way, and was told by support there is no way to repair it, even for money. This is wasteful, and clearly a product flaw.

I have been trying to make a "live chat" for the past 5 days. All it has been doing for that time is this (See picture below) I am really frustrated with Fitbit.

Same thing happened to mine. I don't recall banging it on anything. Also my strap has broken. Very sad.

It most defiantly a design fault on just charge 2. As no other complaints about any if He fit bit. If a car has a reoccurring problem there is a recall.
