I recently purchased an inspire hr and for some reason am not receding text notifications. I receive notifications for phone calls, so I’m not quite sure what is going on. I already tried removing the inspire from my account and then re-adding it, I’ve reset the inspire, I have reset the notifications in the app, and I’ve restarted my iPhone. I also have selected all three alerts in my notification settings on my phone. Is there anything else I could try?

If text settings are set so you cannot preview text content on lock screen your Fitbit will not notify you.

why are you giving this advice ??? I did it...And then everything went to hell !!! I have a Samsung J7 I unpair it.. and after I couldn't paired it again !! It took me 2 days to fix it! And now I can see my Fitbit on my Bluetooth screen But I still can't pair it back !!

I had the same issues. After
going through all of the posts on her and verifying that all my notifications where set to on and always, it ended up being my sync all day was off on the app.

You should have said in your " advise" then, it is only for Iphone. !!!

I have tried the steps provided to me from Fitbit and nothing works. I have a Samsung Galaxy S10. When I got my Fitbit in October, it worked awesome. Then stopped at the end of December. I get all notifications: calls, fitibit, facebook messenger, etc...but no text message notifications on my device. I have contacted Fitbit support already and I continually am told that "we are working on it", but it looks like this is a known issue for over a year and no fixes. Has anyone gotten this to work that has a Galaxy?

This was the solution for me! Important... I was going to notifications: show previews and also notifications: fitbit but I was NOT checking the notifications: messages. Notifications for messages must have the notification center selected AND show previews always must be selected, per your picture below. Thank you!!! I would have never thought the problem was in the messages settings.

If they don't fix this soon, I'm gonna scream. It started working for like a week and now it is back to not letting me know when I have a text. I keep my phone on silent most of the time so I really want this feature back. I have done everything, unpaired/paired, restarted, reboot phone, delete and reinstall the app and NOTHING IS WORKING! Fitbit really needs to figure this out.

Hi all!
Im new! I just got my Inspire HR yesterday. Despite following all the steps and the troubleshooting I have yet to receive ONE text message on the device. Emails etc are fine but no text messages.
I thought I was going a little crazy and eventually contacted Fitbit and their response was “wait for the app update”. I updated the app this afternoon and....shocker....it made no difference.
I’m so frustrated!!!

I am having the same problem! I contacted Fitbit support via telephone and after checking all of the settings on my phone, the Fitbit dashboard and the Fitbit itself, I was told they would have to report it to the escalation team. I had to email them to get any idea of what was going on and I am being told that this is a "glitch" in the system that they are working on. It has been over a week and still no resolution. I would really like this to be resolved.

This is an on-going issue. I spend the time doing all tasks to make it work which it will for a while then it stops working. Very annoying.
