I just got an Inspire HR and I can not get it to pair with my Galaxy S9 bluetooth.   I have tried several things and it still won't pair.  Any suggestions?  thanks

Hi ... I tried for over 3 hours to get my new fitbit Inspire HR to 'pair'. Then I moved my phone and new charging fitbit to my kitchen plug (away from my laptop and tablet) ... after only once turning my Bluetooth off and on, it paired straight away. Hope this helps others.

I'm having trouble with an Alexa device set-up in my office, so I may try doing the initial set-up in my kitchen as well.

Pairing and Syncing seems to be so frustrating for everyone ... perhaps fitbit could collect info and better share the different first 'call to action' ideas.

after the firmware update a few days ago now it won't do any notifications, unpaired and now the phone doesn't see it

Fitbit has serious problems. I had to uninstall all the software from my
phone and start from scratch to make mine work. I have done this three
times since I acquired last June. I would not recommend Fitbit HR to
anybody.

2nd time for me. There was just an update and I had to redo the process I
just did at Christmas time.

Have you tried to force stop your app? Do that and unpair from bluetooth.
Then go back and try to pair. Make sure your at almost a full charge. If
that doesn't work hold down the button on the bracelet while it's on charge
for 10 seconds until you see a smiley face or some legal stuff (it resets
it, but you dont lose anything). If regular pairing doesn't work after go
into the settings in the app and click on sync.

I miss my Jawbone. So much more advanced and easy. I don't why they stopped
making them and the app doesn't support them anymore. Anyway, it could be
your phone if it's older. But if that's not it, I'd invest in a different
product. There are many out there. Garmin and Samsung make some good one's.
Just do a Google search. Good luck

Took the advice offered, re: pairing my FitBit Inspire HR with my Galaxy S7.

It still will not pair with my phone. Any other advice available, would be appreciated.

Didn't help me at all. My frustration's growing. lol

I haved tried and  tried, top no avail, to pair my new FitBit Inspire HR with my Galaxy S7.

I hope and would appreciate any help out here.

My Inspire is recognized on my bluetooth page. Have rebooted (off/on) more than a few times. Say's it's pairing, then just times out, sitting there, waiting for me to figger this out.

As said above...HELP! Please. (works well on my wrist, but not paired)

Thank You Mucho!

Have you tried going on your Fitbit app clicking on the person on the top
left, then clicking on your device? You should see if everything else
worked correctly?

Dear Sammie,

This little old lady was in despair trying to get the dammed devices to work.  Many crude and vulgar words, which my mother never taught me, were used.  Then using your suggestions (and even more nasty words) it is now working.  I am so delighted that I scrolled back in my history to find you and thank you.

Best,

I tried your advice several times, all to no avail. Charged 100%Tapped my pic on my home page. (actually, after a couple tries not working, I smacked my face, the pic, not me, and tried again, Nothing) I was sure I heard laughing after my last attempt.Bluetooth Off/On...Nothing.My Galaxy S7 sees my Inspire HR, but again... "pairing"...then nothing.
I appreciate your advice. Might I not be setting my Inspire settings a certain way for pairing?
Thx again,Dave

The company got the spelling wrong. Replace the f with other letters.

I am having the same problem.  Can't get my Inspire HR to sync with my S7.  I've tried everything.  Uninstalled then  reinstalled the app, restarted my fitbit but nothing works.  Haven't been able to sync for 2 days now.  Very frustrated and unhappy with Fitbit!
